A reviewer threw this away because “ethanol” is listed on the label. This isn’t ethanol from gas stations nor does it block B1. In fact, just the opposite. This ethanol promotes obsorbtion. Ethanol is added to dissolve and stabilize the benfotiamine, prevent spoilage, and actually improve absorption into the bloodstream. Taste is not that good. But it does work. I do see a increase in more mobility and movement, like more easy and not feeling like your weighed down. I didn't notice any major pain relief, But I did notice that every time I take my doses and almost instantly that my airways and nostrils open up and my breathing increases and more air begans to flow through my nose. Clears up your breathing. It was like someone put some oxygen in your nose. I was like wow my breathing increased and I didn't have any troubles breathing either, I felt like the air I was breathing was lighter and even more air coming through my nose, which was an increase and helps too so you don't fell out of breath when doing things. Up to know this is how it's been working for me. Who knows maybe with longer use I will see more good effects and benefits, as of now it works good for me..

CRP (marker of inflammation) dropped from 4.8 (high) in March to 2.7 (good) in July. The only change I made was adding in 5-10 drops of this Benfotiamine in the AM. That is a low dose, but I tend to be super sensitive to things. I like the drops; I can start slow and work up. This B1 is supposed to be anti-inflammatory, and it certainly appears that is true. I'll retest in a few months, but for now, I am pleased. The flavor is fine, IMO. Not unpleasant.

ETHANOL in it!!!! Crud!!! ~ another $30+ tax meets the trashcan!! If I'm going to buy stuff like this to ahem, "get healthier" at the very least I should get it at a store (or another online outlet) with a good return policy!!! When ordering supps here at the big A store -- they are NOT returnable!! WHY put ethanol in it?? Was so anxious to try this product but from my understanding ethanol blocks B1 -- which is the reason for taking benfotiamine to start with!!!! The B1 for nerves!!!! And even if not blocked by ethanol, I still do not want this in our bodies anyway!! If I want ethanol, I'll pull up to the nearest convenience store and pump gas in my car. I obviously do not know about absorption or taste since it's going straight into the trashcan!! Thanks a lot Absonutrix, with candida, "all we need" is to pour gasoline (well, "ethanol") on top of already compounded problems!! If you're looking for liquid benfotiamine..... An idiot like me?? My suggestion: do not B1 !!!!!! There's another good brand available, liquid without ethanol, wish we would have stuck with that. Going to go buy it now.
