Well made, lightweight, affordable, low impact exercise tool, for upper & lower body.
Got this Hand/Foot Pedal Rehab Tool, per my PT's suggestion, to add some easy upper body & aerobic exercises & help keep weight off while home bound &in a semi stationary state over the next few months & something to do while watching TV, etc & to supplement to my current rehab home therapies for my newly SHATTERED KNEECAP (non-displaced fractures, w/no cast or surgery required), but ordered to wear an immobilizer brace by Ortho MD.So, with an order of no bending knee & my regular sporting activities of swimming, scuba, pickleball, golf, hiking, etc, are on hold for several months, this piece of equipment was suggested, as I can also keep leg elevated, iced as needed while using it & being while stuck at home a bathroom is only a few feet away.Just place a large flat seat cushion or pillow (I use a wheelchair seat cushion) on your lap while in a recliner/couch/or chair (I then cover the pillow w/lengthwise large thin cutting board, to ensure a firm flat base for pedal exerciser (use enclosed grip cloth if surface is slippery), I've also used a triangular wedge type pillow & both worked fine w/pedal exerciser).Figuring by 6-8 wks (when bending knee is allowed) I can also use it on floor & under table (requires 13+ inches of under-table-to-knee clearance) as a supplement to knee range of motion & low impact leg exercise when at home & not able to get out & about. For help w/endurance, weight loss, toning & cardiovascular think 30+ min intervals 1+x's/day) at low resistance levels, for increased muscles they advise short bursts of a few min w/high resistance, followed by longer intervals of light resistance as cool-downs.So far, so good. I've had no residual wrist, elbow or shoulder issues w/using this product, & really like the tracking element for reps, calories burned, time spent, etc. (Tip; hold the RED button down for several seconds to clear old data). I'm 2 wks since the onset of injury & this tool is working out perfectly for me.Anyone looking for a basic, well made, lightweight, sturdy, affordable, compact, collapsible, low impact exercise tool, for both upper & lower body, this one should do the trick. I hope this helps everyone.

small and effective
I had my left knee replaced in October, 2022 at age 67. I tried to use my full-sized recumbent exercise bike to maintain the flexibility at home instead of traveling 16 miles each way to therapy sessions, but the length of the bars on which the pedals are mounted was too long for me to be able to bend my knee. completely.I got this small cycling machine to be able to do those daily exercises, and it is working quite well. I probably have enough mobility be able to use the full-sized bike again; but this is so convenient where I can exercise in my bedroom while on the computer doing remote bookkeeping for a few clients. It easily folds up to be able to store out of the way when not in use. The grip pad included prevents the device from moving around. My sister's knees are degrading also, and she was going to therapy sessions twice weekly. She lives remotely in Missouri and had to travel 30 miles each way for the sessions. She was adamant that she wasn't going through knee replacement. (Trust me the replacement is very difficult to go through!)I got one of these for her. It worked well enough that she is doing therapy at home and no longer has to attend a professional therapy session. She uses it for 5 minutes, 3 times daily. Along with a yoga strap I got her at the same time, she has so far staved off knee replacement and stated that she has better mobility than before. She's 73 and still going strong. This has an adjustable tension resistance, but I recommend not using that feature. It can make noise and probably causes wear inside. The cycling motion without resistance is still very effective--especially when you're older like us and don't get adequate exercise by other means. It's effective, inexpensive, and convenient, which are all important factors when you have limited income. I don't use the included timer or the tension knob, but those features are there if you want to use them.I highly recommend getting this unit even if you don't have the same issues as my sister and me. I also recommend getting a yoga strap and following the other exercises included with that strap. It's a way to get some quality exercise without having to leave the safety of your home.

Does the job but not great quality
Pros: no assembly required and is pretty compact, better than buying a whole exercise bike. My legs did get a pretty good workout- I used it for range of motion after hip surgery. Good price- especially since I bought the Iike new option!Cons: moves around a lot even when on carpet, it doesn’t pedal super smoothly, very hard to adjust the straps for pedaling but it does come pre set to the largest size so if you have bigger feet or wear gym shoes you’ll be fine.Overall, it’s a good deal for someone like me who will only need it a few months. May be a good option for exercise in the winter months when it’s hard to get outside.

Okay tool.
I bought this to use as a table exerciser. It comes with a screw to adjust the pedal resistance, but it tends to wear down over time, requiring frequent readjustment.
