Hello, the screw length is about 0.47 inch. And the diameter of the holes in the metal plate is 0.16 inch.

Thats a yes, i used 6 magnets to hold a heavy 1.95m x .45m wood panel onto a wall. I really have to assert alot of pressure to pull the panel away.
