Small Carabiner Keychain Misting Fan, Teal

Bought this for my active 5yo who gets very hot and sweaty quickly. It has pretty good air flow for a tiny fan with foam blades and the water feature is easy for him to utilize independently. The battery compartment might need to be taped for extra security if your kiddo likes fiddling with things, otherwise it's worth it. The carabiner is flimsy so I replaced it but that's not a deal breaker for me.

This fan is very convenient - it fits inside my backpack pocket easily, takes up very little room, and the fan "blades" don't seem to mind being crushed in there. Nice colors. Good price. Takes batteries rather then USB, which is great for my use. The only issues are that the fan is a bit loud and when on, and if you put it down to stand on its own, it tends to dance/move across the desk if it's on - it works well if held in your hand. If I need it to sit on its own, I prop it with books so it doesn't move. Also, the battery cover comes off easily in my bag, so I keep having to search for it. For the price, it's worth the bother.

Used this on a trip to Europe in 90-100 degree heat. It was surprisingly good. Nothing fancy. Small and easy to refill. Just a quick spray and short bursts of the fan gave a needed respite from the heat. I returned a couple other more expensive ones that were large, complicated, and had too many bells and whistles. This one's great for traveling.

Let me tell you something. If you are ever going to spend $10, it needs to be spent on this. Every household needs 20. Every school should have them in classrooms. Every airplane needs them in the overhead. It was and still is a LIFE SAVER.Really though, I purchased this to attempt to stay somewhat cool while in a Disney World trip and it did not disappoint. Perfect amount of airflow, the mist felt great and it didn’t really even leak when it was filled up. The blades are robust enough to handle being stuffed into a bag and drug back out time and time again and it doesn’t use that much power either! 2 Energizer Lithium batteries got me at least 30 hours of run time! If you’re looking for something lightweight that you can rely on, buy this!!!

While this fan makes a little noise, it's perfect for outdoor summer activities in the heat. I bought it to use for theme park trips, but it's been perfect for the beach. The kids in our group love the easy way to cool off and that it's easy to carry. Holds a good bit of water and seems to do well with battery life.

Carry extra batteries. Don’t know if water kept getting in to battery compartment but had to replace batteries every other week.

Cons: 1. The carabiner is very flimsy; I will definitely be replacing it with a metal one. 2. The misting function is more of a spray than a mist. 3. The fan power could definitely be stronger. 3. The battery cover is pretty flimsy. I will be covering it with tape to keep everything contained.Pros: 1. Lightweight. 2. Holds a decent amount of water. 3. The fan seems to do the job (I will update when I test this out during my trip to Disney World in July). 4. The ability to clip this on to my backpack is very convenient. 4. Value: I paid $5.99 for mine, but I would have paid up to $10.Overall I am happy with this purchase, and I am planning to buy another one for my husband.

My daughter took this to sleep away camp and loved it. Everybody in her cabin wanted to use it. The fan is easy to use, very compact, and surprisingly effective in helping you to cool down. My 9 year old even kept water in the mechanism when not in use, which they don't recommend, but it didn't leak at all.

The fan blades are foam, so I'm afrsidbit wont last long. It'll come in handy at Disney World, and definitely less expensive than buying something there, but I won't use it until we're melting in Florida. I'm afraid it won't last long.
