Perfect Replacement Grips That Work
These grips are the real deal. If you're an owner of the Elite Controller - Series 1 and use it on a regular basis, chances are the grips have already begun to peel due to the heat from your hands. Thankfully, these replacement outer grips fit perfectly, feel as good as the original, are easy to install (use the YouTube link in the product description), and after a month of use, seem to hold up well.* For those of us still using this discontinued controller (Series 2 is its successor), these are the best replacements on the market. *I will update my review if the condition of the grips change over long term use.

Easy to install, looks and feels great.
The rubber part of the grips on my Elite Controller grew like one of those plastic dinosaur things you soak in water. Eventually the outer ones fell off (well, got picked off). These replace the whole outer grip panel, from the trigger to the end of the grip. The panels are just clipped onto the controller, there are no screws or anything like that. It's a little nerve wracking getting the first one off, it does take a bit of force and working down them (I used a guitar pick), but once it's off, and you have a good sense of where the clips & tabs are, the other one is easier. These just snap on. They fit absolutely perfectly, and make the controller look & feel brand new. They've been on for a couple months now and aren't showing signs of growing like the originals, so I'm hopeful that these will be on for the rest of the controller's life.

Yes there good.
After a long time using my original xbox one elite controller. I'm guessing a year and a half or something. My grips started to separate from the controller but the inside part but the outside back parts. The ones you can remove to begin taking apart the controller. Not that I ever did with my elite but that I'd done well over 15 times with the horrible, low quality, piece of crap controllers that Xbox somehow thought was ok to sell toits trusting customers. Seriously, after I had broken either the shift buttons or the thumb sticks had loosened beyond all reason or the controllers started to phantom drift or I guess zi squeeze them tight and the plastic shell around it felt loose and shifted slightly when I held it(enough to really bother me) on 2 replacement xbox brand controllers (you wouldnt assume they were so cheap at all considering the 70.00 cost of them). I had to resort to buying the off brands from Gamestop(like powerA and the like etc.) And get the year warranty and proceeded to return and exchange them over and over and over for months. Although, now to be honest if you dont mind the wired aspect, PowerA makes an amazing high quality elite level controller that costs like less than half the price of the elite or elite2 by Xbox called the PowerA Fusion Pro controller. Amazingly great controller that I cant believe is from PowerA. Anyways ,yes the replacement grips worked perfectly only downside was that you can kinda feel where the new grip starts and the old ones begin. Depending on how aggressive you are with your controller. I dont treat them bad or throw them or anything but in a heated game of DOA6 or Forza Horizon 3(not4) and especially Fortnite I can tend to grip them pretty hard so theres a ton of info that vears completely off course but that's the review.

Fits excellent!
Fitment and look on these is 98% PERFECT. The checkered rubber texture is actually MUCH better than what came on the elite and more satisfying, as well as the rubber is slightly harder and better quality than the original. The ONLY reason I did not give 5 stars is that the rubber at the very bottom edge of the grips is not quite the same thickness as the surrounding two edges and does create a tiny bit of an catching edge (seriously, this is a tiny flaw, you can barely feel it under your finger, maybe 1/64" or even less) that could maaaayyyybe begin to peel back over time so buyer....sort...of beware? ish? That being said, odds are if you are using a MS Elite controller you are probably taking very good care of it to even be replacing these and this would not be an issue at ALL. Overall I love them and they fit like brand new, it made it feel like my controller was brand new again.

Nice replacement
Bought this because my original grips were peeling. So far so good for the price. Feels the same as the original and the color matches nicely. Surprisingly easy to replace the originals and the kit contained everything I needed to do the job.

Great Replacement for Elite Controller Grips!
I was pretty skeptical about this product at first. I was mostly concerned that it wouldn't match the non-replaced portion of the grips, but that was not the case. I cannot make any distinction between these replacement grips and the original grips. The color and texture appears to be spot on and they sit flush with the remainder of the controller. It was a little difficult to remove the old grips, but it wasn't too bad. Once the old ones were removed these were pretty easy to install in it's place. They do give you a small prying tool to assist with the removal of the old ones, but it still required a bit of effort. I think I was just being overly cautious to not break anything. Anyways, if you are in the market for replacement grips for the ELITE 1 Controller, look no further. These absolutely will not disappoint you. I've been using them for about 3.5 months now and they are still holding strong.

The rubber on my grips was starting to peel badly on both sides. These are the perfect replacements. They look and feel identical to the original and even allow you to choose a nice little color accent. Replacement is 5 minutes work and the result is perfect! Highly recommended. They are even cheaper than most I saw on ebay

Bought these to replace the grips on my Xbox Elite Controller (v1), where the rubber had stretched and warped. Visually they are close to a perfect match as I could have wanted. And having used them on the controller daily since purchase (May 2020), they feel great, and show no sign of wearing down so far. They came with tools to remove the original grips, but I found it easier to pry off with my fingers once there was enough of a gap to get a grip. These new ones snapped on securely with minimum effort. If your grips are starting to wear down on your Elite v1, look no further to make it good as new. P.S. Once you've popped off the original grips, check the rubber parts on the controller body - If you notice the edge lifting slightly, now might be a good time to put a tiny bit of glue under there to stick them down before it gets worse/unfixable.
