The quilt designs are lovely, merging traditional with modern. The instructions for each quilt seem clear and easy to follow. The interspersed photos of home decor add to the overall ambiance of the book. I am so glad that I bought this book.

The first bunch of quilts feature touches of pink fabric that really captivate me. The pink fabrics are combined with different colors so they have very different looks. There are some bold choices like red, white, and blue along with a buttery soft white and yellow quilt - both equally lovely. So much variety in the bold overall patterns and small blocks.

Having collected quilts for 30 years I expected more information on vintage fabrics used in quilts rather than creating reproduction designs.
