I have owned many pairs of Ray-Ban over the years, and have always been very pleased with their quality and craftmanship. As I have gotten older, my eyes need more light filtered through than the green or grey lenses allow.These lenses (they're described as dark blue, but they're more like a marine blue) are just what I was looking for after trying so many others. They provide more of the filtered light to reach my eye, which enhances the overall contrast and detail. The colors are are more vivid and they sharpen object contours without causing me to squint.Can't say enough good things about them, they're perfect for my aging eyes.
