****Update****This was working well at first, but I've had battery/charging issues. I think this has a battery pack that is rechargeable, but it looks like a size that is slightly wider than a AA and the length of a D battery. Not sure if the connection on it is the issue or not. However, when the battery connection fails this quick, not much to do but return. I'll probably keep looking for other products now. This did work well, but after seeing some more options out there, I'm wondering if I can't get something a little nicer.****I have wanted an endoscope for a few years, but as most of my work is DIY around the house, the need has been limited and the cost has always made me shy away. Last summer I used my friends Ryobi ES5000 to run some speaker wires in my ceiling. It worked okay, but the camera wasn’t great. Fast forward to seeing this one at a great price. It is hands down better in every aspect than the Ryobi. The tools can also also be helpful when trying to grab really small items. I wish they had a claw type grabbing mechanism that attaches to the scope, but I was able to use a Harbor Freight one I had alongside the scope and made it work. The magnet is not very strong, so it’s just to grab a screw or maybe a bit if you drop it, but doesn’t hold on to larger items. The hook also takes some getting used to, but that is more a lack of skill on my end than an issue with the tool. Overall I couldn’t be happier, I’ve used this to fish out some toys that got stuck under appliances and scouting out cabling routes in walls and ceilings. The other nice feature was the light on top of the screen. You can control the light and brightness at the end of the scope, but being able to have to extra light closer to where you are at helps as well.

This product was easy to use right out of the box. Without reading the instructions I charged the device for a few hours and was easily able to turn it on and begin using it for the purpose I bought it, what was leaking beneath my sink. The camera quality is good, not quite as clear as a newer iPhone, but definitely adequate for in home use. I was able to tell if pipes were leaking or not with certainty, and I was able to investigate relatively dark places in my basement and plumbing areas that are fairly inaccessible in the house and this was due to the camera quality and LED features. The LED lights can be turned on and off, FYI. You can capture images with this camera and use an internal micro sd card to do so. I liked that the camera cord was detachable, I'm hoping I can find an extra camera cord just in case. I'm pleased with this device and I would recommend it to the do-it-yourselfers or to anyone in need of a camera like this one.

The picture quality is very good- beyond 2-3" it focuses very well is is very clearIt's easy to use- pretty much just plug in the camera cord and turn it onthe light on the camera is very helpful and sufficiently brightCON- the unit reboots frequently, sometimes several times within a 5 minute period, sometimes not for 10 minutes or longer. As of yet, it hasn't refused to turn back on but I'm slightly worried there's a poor connection somewhere that will eventually fail, rendering it useless. They have not responded to requests to service or replace the unit.

Right out of the box it worked great and was intuitive. I recently bought a different brand “WiFi” device. Days later and several emails to the vendor and I can’t get the other one to connect wirelessly to my iPhone. So, I spent a few dollars more for a quality scope with its own screen. Excellent construction (the other device had a shaky power switch) and genuine aircraft type cable connection. I should have bought this first and saved myself the aggravation trying a wireless type. I highly recommend this Model i30 from Ilihome. There are a couple typos in the instruction pamphlet but overall it’s a good manual that anyone can easily understand.UPDATE This scope just paid for itself. See the photos. I installed a new battery a couple weeks ago. Honda engine has an open air duct by the battery above the radiator. Stupid design ought to have a screen over it! After tightening a nut I set the wrench nearby in the duct opening. I bumped the wrench and it dropped down the duct. I ordered this scope to find the wrench. I suspected it was in the duct but didn’t know. I located and retrieved the wrench today using the scope and a long heavy duty magnetic retriever. The scope magnet is too small for anything that weighs as much as a wrench.

This endoscope is not tiny but just in right size that I can easily hold while working on and it's very light weight. The design is suitable for single hanf, I can hold it and control or press buttons to adjust or capture image or video by using single hand. It has two power source. Either I can use 18650 battery when no outlet available, or standard USB micro adapter when outlet is nearby.It also supports full HD 1080p resolution, so I can take pictures or videos, and save them to memory card and review and diagnosis the problem later.

I'm just validating what most other's have said. With the coupon, this is a great scope for quick jobs. Everything is ready to go, you just turn the thing on and everything works. The picture quality is very similar to back up cams you see on cars.I had another endoscope that I used with my phone but I hated to use it because the app was really clunky. I realized I actually liked having something distinct from my phone too. The setup is far more convenient. This thing has can't get much closer than about 5-10cm, but I personally don't have a need for that.

Great cam system at a great price, I did a little research and this seems to be the best for your buck camera unit, it is really easy to use, picture quality is better than I expected for its cost, seems to be rugged, I purchased an Apache 1800 weather proof case for it from harbor freight for $12 and it fit right in there...I do chimney inspections and the cameras don't seem to last long no matter how much I spend so if this one lasts a single inspection then I would consider it paid for itself...

The media could not be loaded.  Nach Erhalt der Ware wurde diese natürlich umgehend ausgepackt und an die Steckdose gehängt. Nach dem vollständigen Laden habe ich gleich die Kamera angeschraubt um diese zu testen. Das Bild ist ganz passabel und dem Preis absolut entsprechend. Mittels SD Karte kann ein Video aufgenommen oder Screenshots gemacht werden. Sollte das Bild mal auf dem Kopf stehen, kann die Darstellung auch mittels Pfeiltaste gedreht werden. Ich habe mir direkt meinen Abfluss angeschaut.....zum Glück Neubau😂.Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass das einer meiner Zukünftigen Lieblingshelfer im Haus und z.B. auch beim Auto sein wird. Toll ist auch das Licht an der Kamera.Ich bin rundum zufrieden und kann diesen Artikel guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Ich hatte mir die Kamera für eine Dachinspektion bestellt. Ich bin an einer Stelle vorne an der Regenrinne mit der Kamera rein und wollte parallel zu einer Verkleidung den Bereich ca. 2 Meter inspizieren. Es ist eine gerade Führung, es fällt keinerlei Licht ein. Die Beleuchtung der LEDs war ausreichend um den Bereich zu beleuchten, die Linse konnte jedoch das Bild nicht fokussieren. Ergebnis war ein unscharfes Video, was mir mehr Rätsel aufgegeben hat, als Fragen zu klären. Zum hatte die Kamera einen nicht nachvollziehbaren Wackelkontakt, der ein eigentlich durchgängiges Video in 6 Teile mit entsprechenden Unterbrechungen aufgezeichnet hat. Die Kamera ging nach einmaligem Einsatz zurück. Amazon TOP, Produkt Flop.

Ich hatte mir die Endoskopkamera gekauft, um ein Abwasserrohr zu überprüfen. Musste jedoch feststellen, dass die Kamera für diesen Zweck völlig ungeeignet ist, da die 8 LED`s nicht ausreichen, größere Hohlräume auszuleuchten.Die Kamera ist mit Hilfe der etwas holprig übersetzten Bedienungsanleitung einfach zu handhaben. Kameralinse und Display funktionieren zunächst gut, jedoch in der praktischen Handhabung überzeugt sie mich nicht. Test ergab, dass die aus dem Inneren eines kleinen Hohlraumes übertragenen Bilder OK sind. Bei der Kontrolle eines Abwasserrohres waren die Bilder allerdings verschwommen und wenig brauchbar.

Wir haben ein verstopftes Abwasserrohr im Garten, für das ich prüfen möchte, woran die Verstopfung liegt. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mir ein Endoskop gekauft.Wirklich begeistert hat mich, dass das System Plug&Play ist. Das heißt, ich musste das Endoskop nur einmal kurz laden und schon konnte ich es direkt benutzen.Das Bild ist sehr gut und man kann hervorragend sehen, was sich im Rohr befindet. Nicht wundern, dass auf dem Foto das Display streifig aussieht - das liegt nur an dem Foto. In Live ist das Display hervorragend.Also ich kann das Endoskop absolut empfehlen. Es ist einfach zu bedienen, über ein zusätzliche SD Karte können die Bilder aufgezeichnet werden und das Gehäuse ist sehr stabil verarbeitet. Die Anleitung ist auf Deutsch
