I’ve used the Eddie Bauer 30L Stowaway for years, but this backpack is a serious upgrade. It packs down smaller, feels more durable, and is way more comfortable thanks to its padded, breathable straps and structured back panel. The material is tougher and more water-resistant, and the zippers glide smoothly. I love the added organization—especially the secure back pocket and deep side bottle holders (which actually hold a bottle). Whether I’m hiking, flying, or just running errands, this backpack handles it all without sagging or straining. It’s the best packable backpack I’ve used—lightweight, tough, and smartly designed. Highly recommended!

—I purchased this backpack for a month long travel through the South Pacific and used it as my personal item on the plane, where it very easily fit under the seat. —It had several compartments that helped me organize my many belongings, including compartments for cash, credit cards, pens, and wet items. —The backpack seams, straps, and zippers held up well to the 8 to 10 lbs I carried in the backpack —The backpack was a vibrant color and had reflectors. —The only complaint I have is that the straps would loosen over time. The only solution for this would be to stitch them so they don’t loosen, but I do not have a sewing machine and don’t want to pay a seamstress $20 to stitch them up. Hence my four star rating.

Great backpack, lightweight, lots of pouches, zippers seem strong, and I especially like the double zippers for ease of taking things out of the pockets. The side mesh pockets are quite deep and wonderful for several sizes of water bottles. One dislike, no strap on the back for using when you’re traveling with a suitcase. That would’ve made this item 100% perfect.

This backpack is perfect to take on a trip for extra space on the way home. It packs up so small and is lightweight but holds a good amount. We take them when we cruise so its easy for ports.

We put it through the paces- camping, hauling stuff to and from work, carrying everyone's stuff through amusement parks and festivals- and it has been perfect. I have a history of overstuffing backpacks and this backpack has high quality zippers, well sewn straps, deep pockets with interior zip pockets, and the two waterbottle pockets actually fit real world water bottles. I am now buying a second one for my kid who does Scouting America. She'll put it through the paces too. When someone spilled a red drink on my backpack at the last amusement park, I didn't realize it for a few hours because the liquid was still just sitting on top of the fabric- it hadn't seeped through even after all that time. It could use more padding in the straps I suppose but that is the only thing I can think of that might make it better. This backpack is fantastic, especially for the price. When it first arrived, I thought perhaps it qould be short-lived because it is so light, but it has held up very well.

Lightweight, foldable, value for the money, water resistant and the material is as described. It was comfortable to tote and the size was bigger than I expected. I had many items in my backpack and it wasn’t heavy. The hot pink is super cute. Zippers worked great.

I just received it and it’s the best bag I ever used for a hike. Thank you for this kind of great production, many apartments very light and perfect buckles.

Dont usually leave reviews but sat here in the airport with 12kg in this puppy, very very efficient bag helped me make weight on my check-in, in awe of its storage capability, 10/10 would recommend

This is a great backpack, we use it as a change bag and there is loads of space for stuff for two kids and space to put things in for us parents too! There are lots of pocket, very handy to split out clothes, food etc. The bag is lightweight material and comfy to wear, even has a whistle on the cheat strap which wasn’t expected! The material has been fine in a light shower (not used yet in heavier rain) and no marks or damage as yet from the many transitions from car to buggy to house etc. Love the pattern and colours, very pretty. I really hope it lasts a long time as I love it!
