I absolutely love this light. I fostered a male dog for 2 months and he urinated all over my house. I could not get the smell out because I did not know where he urinated. This light made it possible to do a thorough inspection of my home and clean every spot. It's also great to use in the rest room when cleaning as you are able to see spots you missed while cleaning.

Got this for my daughter and hubby. Thought they'd like it for checking on cat accidents and hiking (a lot of cool things glow under UV). Before I wrapped it up I put batteries in it to make sure it worked, and I was impressed with how bright this is. Feels strong and well-made.It is really cool, and I'm bummed I've blown through the Christmas budget and I didn't get one for myself!

I was impressed with how bright this flashlight was. The flashlight can be disassembled in three places for service - the battery compartment, the handle near the light housing, and the bell-shaped part of the LED assembly. The battery compartment and handle threading had rubber gaskets, but I did not see one in the bell housing near the LED assembly, which is the only reason why I did not give it 5 stars. Being able to easily unscrew the LED assembly from the flashlight was a welcome surprise, as was the build of the board - it looks like it's simple enough to replace LEDS should they burn out with the use of a soldering iron, and nothing weird or "cheap" about the LED array or the board it's mounted on. I'm sure my husband will love it when he opens this gift for Christmas.

We bought this for a "mystery puzzle" we purchased that had "clues" that you were supposed to find with the UV flashlight it included. That light did not work. We purchased this to finish the puzzle and it was great!! Showed all the clues clearly.

It’s ok for the price. The issue I found is the button. I have to wiggle it around most of the time to keep it from dim flickering. For me, the low price got me a UV light which I’m happy about but just wish the on off switch would be more consistent.

Our dog has decided to pee on our rug lately when we go to the store and after shampooing over and over without getting the smell completely gone, i had to get this to find exactly where the smell was coming from. This found it right away and I was able to deal with that isolated spot without playing guessing games anymore. Great product and value! Way better than some of those other cheaper types out there.

My daughter's cat was urinating in the house. We could smell it but couldn't find it. Had all the carpets cleaned and still couldn't find the smell. Bought this light and instantly found it! She had marked every door in the house and wasn't urinating on the carpet which is why cleaning them didn't get rid of the smell. We used a pet urine neutralizer and this light and no more pee smell!!!

I bought this specifically to show where my cat pees. This light does NOT show urine stains. I KNOW the cat peed on the carpet the other day but dont know exactly where and this light shows me nothing. I even shined this light in the litter box to test it and it doesnt even show pee in the litter box. It does, however, show every tiny speck of grease on your kitchen cabinets if that interests you. Weirdly, it also glows on all my light switches and doorknobs - so that means it picks up on bleach and/or Lysol because I am pretty consistant about wiping those areas down due to COVID.If you are looking to buy this light to look for urine stains, forget it and save your money. Buy some other light because this one shows nothing. I am really annoyed and frustrated because I have a problem with an anxious, peeing cat and really needed for this light to help me. I'm returning this to Amazon.It takes 3 AA batteries. Not AAA as stated somewhere else.
