Gormiti Lords of Nature Return Flaming Volcano with 12cm Articulated Magmion

I'm giving this 2 stars as my son (4) thinks the prison and the catapult are cool and does play with this a bit. He would definitely have played with it more if it didn't fall apart when used/touched/moved/looked at. I was so annoyed at the poor quality when I was putting it together, and was literally disbelieving that they could charge so much for such rubbish. Even if it was incredibly sturdy and generally fantastic the price is ridiculous. Like the first reviewer I said ok given it was a birthday gift and the only request was for a volcano. There aren't many volcanos on the market that aren't the chemistry experiment kind, and this one seemed to do a lot compared to the playmobil one I looked at. I considered returning it but my son was really upset at the idea and wanted it even if it kept breaking apart. Within a day the sounds stopped working properly, they will randomly start when not supposed to, and won't start when the figurine gets to the top of the lift. For the last month it has been in about 10 different pieces not including the small rocks etc and hence hasn't been played with. Over the weekend I glued 5 of the largest pieces together and so far it is a relative success as it is playable with. When assembled and holding together it does provide a good focus for playing with figurines.

What a disappointment on Christmas Day! My 8 year old son was desperate for "santa" to bring this on his sleigh......how we wish he never bothered!I have to admit I did think the price was a little steep, however what with it being Christmas and the great advertising of the product, I relented and order for my son. How I wish I never did.....Please be warned and do not waste your money, never before have I felt the urge to write an opinion but I am just compelled to do so. Please find below a list of the issues as I see them1) When the volcano was put together it simply did not stay that way. You could not even touch it without some part falling off or disconnecting from it (and believe you me 3 sober adults had a go on Christmas morning)2) The articulated magmion should be able to go up a lift and the head of the volcano split in two allowing him to "race" down the volcano front. Well on our volcano only one side of the head would open and so we could not do this.3) At the bottom of the volcano slide are two gates with 4 pieces on the top and these simply fall off again and again.4) The noise would not turn off on the volcano unless we removed the batteries from the bottom of it and this meant the whole thing fell apart because of the poor locking mechanism system.I have sent an e-mail to the Amazon sellor, requesting that we return this faulty product for a full refund and am currently waiting for a response.
