The slit provides that added touch that gives this dress that wow factor that every girl wants. The dress zips up from the back, and I found the zipper to be very sturdy. The dress falls to about mid thigh, but on the right side of the dress there are a series of openings that run diagonally to the back of the dress. The material is thick and well designed, which makes the dress look chic and not cheap. It is important to note that since the openings run up the side of the dress panties cannot be used. However a black strapless bra would be perfect to utilize with this dress. The material is not cheap, and I felt very comfortable walking in this dress. I got two different dresses from this listing because I simply can't decide between the two dresses that I like so I got both. I got the lace dress and the half leather dress and I was so excited when I finally received it. Both dress aren't perfect but I love it a lot especially the lace dress one.Black Lace Dress - This dress has a little bit of stretch to it. It fits me really well and I got it in medium size. It's not too tight and very comfortable to wear. The lace fabric is not a fine lace but more of a crochet lace. It's not as soft or dainty looking lace but it looks nice. Dress in lined and is very well made. I like the 3/4 sleeves because it made my arms look thinner and the sheer panel on the center just adds the right amount of drama to the dress.Half Leather Dress - This dress looks really nice too. The leather material is quite soft and stretches just right. The only thing I don't like about this dress is the back zipper does not stay flat and it kind of bulge. Other than that, I really like this dress.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the dresses I got. I am in love with this dress. Every girl should have a little black dress...or a few of them. I am a busy mom with 3 children and very rarely get the time to dress up even less to go shopping for a dress. I was a bit worried about ordering a dress online beacuse I was worried it would not fit well but the dress fit great and looks amazing on me. I feel so beautiful wearing it. It complements my body shape well and I got it in black which makes me look slimmer. The material is really nice and good quality. I do not regret buying this at all! i am ready to buy some more. My husband enjoyed seeing me in it. i am only 4'11 and it was short enough on me i would not have liked it to be any shorter. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect black dress. This dress fits well. I am a size 8 and I got a large in this dress and it fits perfectly. The fabric is stretchy and form fits nicely. The back is open but I added a black bandeau top to cover my bra strap. My only concern with the dress is the opening doesn't just run down the side of your leg. It wraps around to the front of your thigh. The problem with this is that the opening makes it impossible to hide an underwear strap so you would have to go without. BUT going without could cause a problem! since the opening is on the front of your thigh, any slight shift of the dress would cause your whoha to show!I am considering adding lace to the dress to make it less revealing and it would allow me to wear underwear (which I am much more comfortable with).I received this at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

got this product at a discounted price for an honest reviewgot this dress early. I was unsure it was going to fit me. Well I put it one and fell in love with it. My boyfriend loves it too!! The material it's made out is wonderful. Soft perfect fit and it was a large size. love the color it compliments me well. I would love to thank this company for this awesome dress and cant wait to wear it to dinner. Took several photos in it which I will be posting later on today if my phone allows me. it was a bit difficult to zip up so had my boyfriend do it for me. only problem I have is since I have a big booty it rises sometimes. it also has an under layer which feels silky like. recommend this to those who like a good material/fabric. Perfect gift for those girlfriends out there. Well designed and made. My friends and family love this dress too since I sent them photos of it.
