Versatile shade with 3-way adjustment: 1) horizontal (for straight above shading) to vertical (side shading) or any angle in between. 2) height 3) rotation of angle. Frame hardware is high quality, shade is medium weight canvas. Called the company and was told that they do not sell replacements for the canvas and do not do repairs. So if the canvas goes bad, you will need to have one specially made to fit, but it is a simple rectangle shape so the cost would probably be affordable versus buying a whole new shade. I use this for a late in the day (sunset) side shade in conjunction with my retractable awning. Highly recommend this product for it’s quality and versatility.

While the item provides good shade and is easy to use, the top bar that has the shade attached spins too easily. The knob tightens it enough from sliding into the bottom pole but doesn’t prevent it from spinning when there’s a breeze.

This initially liked this product when I put it together. I like the color and it seemed well constructed. However I found it was going to be a pain in my side after the first use. I cant seem to get the crank tight enough for the umbrella to quit flipping sides in the breeze. Its annoying. If its flat it rotates to perpendicular to the ground and vice versa. When I feel a breeze I either have to hold it or rotate the pole back to the angle I had it at. My husband cant even get it tight enough it to rotate.

Luv this shade great for blocking the sun on the side of a screened in porch or on a dock for some extra shade. Easy to. Very little assembly.

It’s a great shade if youDon’t have alot of height and clearance like on a deck of a condo . SturdyBase was difficult to hold it down if windySuggest clamp to attach to deck

Too lightweight, cheap plastic parts, not rugged or stable enough for outdoor use (and who wants a shade for inside??), tilting mechanism does not hold the shade in place in even the slightest breeze, and it does not stay upright, even with the recommended 50lb base… I really wanted to like this product, but I can’t.

I love this. I searched long and hard for a fully adjustable umbrella. It’s easy to put up, move and take down. The only thing I don’t like is the size of the pole. It seems they make it so you have to buy their base. But I made it work in the great base I had. It’s worth it.
