It is novel and I really love it, but it won't be hanging out in my garden like a gnome should. A wandering cat might destroy it. It's made of thin cast resin. The first one came in about 6 pieces just from shipping. The paint jobs are awful and look like whoever did it really didn't care about staying in the lines. There are mis-paints everywhere. I did get a new one promptly after requesting a replacement that wasnt broken, so the company is at least trustworthy. It still came with a toddler style paint job though.

These are good quality gnomes. I keep mine inside on a bookshelf, but the resin looks like it would handle the outdoors just fine. I'm building a collection of Star Trek gnomes and was very pleased to add Data and Spot to the collection.

This was an early Mother's Day Present for my wife, she LOVES it, and it sits on her desk with her Spock Garden Gnome.

Super cute and came in good condition. I bought it for my mom for her birthday and she loves it. So, if you have a kitschy Star Trek fan in your life, get this for them.

Adorable. Looks great in the garden. A little too light, though. I have it outdoors now, but may bring it in if fading occurs.
