Seasonic is Gold
Good, hard PSU reviews are hard to come by these days. Seasonic has never led me astray and and can be trusted to utilize quality components. Works well to run a 2700x and 7700xt.

Great power supply for the $$
Almost a month in and no issues whatsoever with the 850w gold version powering a 3700x, 1080 Ti, x570, 4 hard drives and assorted peripherals. Plenty of cables and easy to route, quality feel. I've used Corsair, Thermaltake and EVGA PSU's in the past, first time with a Seasonic unit. Quiet and effective will update with any issues but so far very pleased with purchase.

Exceptional product with industry-leading warranty
This is a fantastic PSU. Expected, given SeaSonic is the manufacturer of most PSU's, but somehow those other manufacturers still manage to mess things up. SeaSonic has been the face behind most PSU's people love. EVGA supernova? Antec TruePower? Nearly every Corsair PSU? Rebranded SeaSonic. So I hold them to a higher standard than other brands. This PSU did not disappoint. I have mine installed in a beast that is, technically, consuming more watts (863 vs 850) than the PSU is rated for. Despite that, measurements at the outlet indicate the PSU is maintaining temperature and voltage thresholds without clipping, shorting, etc.. I'm impressed! I was worried that I was pushing it too hard, but it's still going strong after nearly a year. The PSU itself has all the features that one would expect in a mid-tier PSU, including hybrid pow-power mode, circuitry protection, PSU tester, extra PCIE cables, and fully-modular connections. Perhaps the best aspect of this PSU is the warranty. Who else covers their power supplies for a decade?? A decade!! Amazing. If they made crappy products, then the warranty wouldn't matter, but coming from the mother of PSU's? Thats a no-brainer.

the peace of mind is well worth it
I bought this to replace my 700w 80+white "smart" PSU because I've recently upgraded from 8700k and 2070 to a 9900k and 3070 and I wanted the peace of mind. I'm very happy with this power supply not because it does anything my old one couldn't do, but because of the peace of mind. I can run my PC overclocked with RGB all over the place and not worry about it exploding. That peace of mind when playing a game is so worth it to me. Plus the 10 year warranty which is just insane. This PSU can possibly outlive my whole computer and if it doesn't it's covered.Installation was super easy as it's fully modular so I just plugged in everything I needed and I was off to the races. It took maybe 10 minutes and 8 of those minutes were unpacking the PSU and sorting what cables I wantedSeasonic is one of the best in the industries so I feel like I'm finally in safe hands.

Excellent PS for the Money - works great pretty silent - fits Mini-ITX cases with a breeze!
It's a solid PS for the money and all you really need if you have RTX 3080ti or RTX 3090 - Honestly, you really don't need much else. Super easy to install - Lots of PCIE X 8 connectors I think you get about 4-5 of them. Can't really complain. Seasonic is a top PS company too + great 10 Year warranty, now that's confidence.

You Can Trust Seasonic
If I had to choose a company or two that has been more than marvelous during this pandemic, it's Seasonic and EVGA.I purchased the 850w PSU to accommodate my 3080 and it's been perfect thus far. I love that it's gold, fully modular and has fan control.Friendly reminder to those looking for a PSU and has a 3080. If you have a 3080, it is NOT recommendedto daisy chain your graphics card with a single cable. Please use two cables to power your 3080. Do your research!

Dead on Arrival
I own a Seasonic 850W same model purchased from Microcenter, bought one for another computer with the hopes it would work just fine and it was dead on arrival. Don't buy from Amazon, purchase elsewhere.EDIT: Not sure how this even worked out but I had to turn Hybrid mode off to get the power supply to start, with Hybrid mode on (it comes on by default), the power supply wouldn't start at all, so far it's up and running I will evaluate over the next few months and report if anything changes.

Fried all the components on my pc requiring me to build a completely new one.
I bought this because I upgraded my processor and motherboard when I plugged it in everything got power like normal but the fan never kicked on... soon after I smelled a burning cable smell and my computer froze... come to find out the power supply malfunctioned and fried all of my hard drives loosing irriplacable photos and videos, fried my z390 pro carbon motherboard to where it doesn't recognize any of the components anymore, I cant verify if my processor still works (i9 9900k) and my gpu as well is also gone.... this power supply cost me around $2000 in damages! I contacted Seasonic directly about this and they said because amazon sold it to me they wont do anything about it. Due to covid 19 Amazon's customer service is not available over the phone to explain this and the websites customer service only asks for return or exchange which is not what I need to get my issue figured out... if it was just for gaming or personal use I would be pissed but not as bad as I am because I have work that I do from home on the computer and I have been struggling with that due to the fact my computer is well nonexistent anymore.
