Concise Read
Great starter book on Ulum al-Qur'an. Though I am a little upset they misspelled Qur'an on Amazon...The book is a translation from Urdu and it is a decent translation, though they could use a pass-through by an editor to pull out small grammatical and spelling errors to bring it up to a higher academic quality.Overall, though, the book is excellent and the cover is beautiful. I love the string to save your page! Great work on that, to the publisher! The content is accessible to all and a rock-solid read on this topic for laymen. Highly recommend this for all Muslims!

A very good introduction to sciences of Quran
One of the more detailed books regarding Quranic sciences in English. It is not a difficult read and would be great for anyone new to the subject
