Will it stand the weight of 42in pioneer plasma and be balanced?

I have fitted a 55” smart tv to the stand and it is very stable. Moving it around is OK as long as you push from below half way with one hand and steady with the other. One tip, if you want it to tilt you must slacken off the top bolts on the tv bracket before you fit.

is a 24kg 65" TV okay for this (since limit is 40kg but says 60")?

It depends on what you mean by "fit", your TV is in the stated range and I doubt it is over 40Kgs so it is suitable I use mine on a carpet, it moves easily and is stable, although carpet is not mentioned in the details

Does it support tv with vesa 75 x 75 mount?
