Disappointed with Shipping.
I have to send my items to Mailbox Etc. who then forwards to me, of course for a fee. I ordered 3 maps. I always purposely choose items from the same store and request all items put together hoping it makes things easier…I get 2 huge bubble envelopes, why is it so difficult! The maps are great! Tear and water proof! Exactly what I expected. That is why I am giving 5 stars … for the product.

Map review
The map had the information we were looking for.

Waterproof and detailed
This is an excellent map for getting your bearings and spatial relationship on how to plan your vacation. The legend was clear and detailed and the index had every little nook and cranny of a town as well as good detail of where the andes were located. Would certainly buy it again. Could have included more detail without cluttering it's intent, like distances between towns.

Good
I love having a map for planning travels. This is good but I wish the major cities were included.

Good Quality. Great buy
I am off to Ecuador for a ten day tour and bought this map to accompany the travel goods I am packing. It is great quality of paper stock, very easy to read and it is so easy to locate a myriad of items on Amazon! Without access to the resources of Amazon I never would have found this resource.

Unfortunately, is on two sides
This is likely a great travel map, with updated roads and such. But, it was expected size, but cuts the country up into halves. I wanted a wall map. This likely fits the bill for travellers using a road map. It's "plasticized" lightly for durability, but making it bulkier to handle and fold.

Great map for a tourist with a bit more depth
Best map I've found for our touring around Ecudaor, and it goes into a bit more depth than a Lonely Planet" type of tourist map (nothing against Lonely Planet guide, we never travel without one). Hpwever, for actual navigation by map, get a Spanish Language map as it will make a great "pointie-talkie" if you are not handy with Espanol. We have found the best combo is this map, the Spanish map, our GPS, and a smattering of Espanol knowledge, will always provide a firing solution for the day's excursion.

Tough useful and full of detail.
These National Geographic maps are tough and have excellent detail - I was doing some rail travel and want ones that included rail lines - these do.

Good quality
Survived refolding and rucksack travel well. Would benefit from some short city or 4 zone stories rather than the largish photos

Nice paper. Readable and just about the right size. Already feel we are there. Arrive on time. Very good packaging.
