100% satisfied with this heavy duty pan rack. I wish I had bought it sooner! It's been a game changer for storing my heavy cast iron and carbon steel pans. I used to keep them stacked on my shelf, and to get to one pan you had to lift off all the others on top of it. This rack uses the same shelf space, but neatly stores the heavy pans in slots so you can pull out the one you want to use. It is very sturdy and holds the pans securely with no wobble. Plus the rack is one solid piece and there is no assembly required.

I picked up the Cuisinel Pots and Pans Organizer to tame the chaos in our kitchen cabinets, and it’s been a game-changer. These heavy-duty racks are sturdy enough to handle cast iron skillets without wobbling, and the 15” size fits snugly on the counter or inside a cabinet. Setup was quick—no tools needed—and the two-pack gave us flexibility to organize both cookware and bakeware. What I love most is the versatility: we’ve used it for cookie sheets, cutting boards, lids, and even serving platters. I use one for my Dutch oven—just a heads-up, not all Dutch ovens will fit. One of mine didn’t, but the other did, and it also holds my heaviest skillets with no problem. It turns clutter into clean lines and makes grabbing the right pan feel like a small daily victory. If your kitchen needs a dose of order without sacrificing style or strength, this rack delivers.

I have limited cabinet space and my iron skillets were always stored stacked together, largest to smallest inside each other. The whole stack had become too heavy for me to lift to find the skillet I wanted. I needed a better way that wouldn't take up much space. I was so pleased to find this rack which is strong and sturdy enough to hold several heavy iron skillets without bending. I have two large iron skillets and four (two on each of 2 tiers) small ones stored in the rack, with a covered enameled braiser sitting on top. No signs of bending so far! Measure your space. I ordered the regular 12" one in black. It fits in my base cabinet in front of the top half-shelf. This rack can be used horizontally with the skillets stored on their sides (four spaces), but I'm using it sitting upright with the skillets sitting flat on the tiers (five spaces counting the top). The bottom space is taller than the others and the base and bottom tier are wider than the top three, which are meant for smaller skillets. The cast iron skillets don't slide off but I did put a thin silicone hot pad under the enameled braiser on top. The braiser is too tall to fit inside the rack so it's on the top small tier. I wish all the tiers were the larger width but it's working fine. The screws for permanently attaching the rack were missing but I didn't want to fasten it to the cabinet. It just sits in the cabinet and seems very sturdy and stable. This is a great solution for storing heavy iron skillets. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy. I use mine vertically and the pans do have to be placed 'just so' to keep them from tipping.

Exactly as described and seriously heavy-duty! It easily holds my big pan without any wobble. I love how it instantly made my countertop look more organized and tidy. Great quality and really practical for keeping things in order.

I have 8 cast iron skillets and everything pans. The 3 smallest are tacked up on my "skillet wall" and the side of a cabinet. The other 5 are: 12" skillet, 12" everything pan, 10" skillet, 10" everything pan, and a 10 inch round griddle. Those 5 pans had been stacked in the storage compartment of my stove, a 50's Western Holly range, which is decrepit and much loved. To get at these pans, the entire stack had to be pulled forward, and the stack had to be unpacked to the level of the needed pan. To get at the 12" skillet, the 3 pans above had to be removed. Keep in mind that these skillets/pans are heavy! After removing the 5 pans, I placed the Cuisinel Pan Organizer in the now empty storage compartment. It just fit. Placed the 2 12" pans and the 2 10" pans into the organizer. (Unfortunately, because the top of the Pan Organizer was flush against the top of the storage compartment, I could not place a pan at the top level. I had to leave the griddle out, but that's the lightest of the 5 pans and could easily be stored on its side, next to the organizer; it will probably be tacked up somewhere.) The change was dramatic. I now could remove and replace any of the 4 pans (and remember, they are heavy!) with ease. The silicone coating eased the pans in and out with almost no friction. I am so happy that I bought this. I used to use stainless steel or non-stick pans where a cast iron pan would be preferable simply because of getting at my cast iron was such a pan. Not anymore! The Pan Organizer does what it is supposed to do. It functions as advertised and is well worth the price paid. And if the silicone coating ever wears out, I will purchase another to replace it.

The organizer works very well for my cast iron skillets. Prior to having the organizer, they were sitting stacked on the south top and would have to be moved every time I needed to use a different burner. It is very sturdy and holds the cast iron well.

Really sturdy and useful for keeping your pans tidy and allow for easy access rather than having them all piled up on one another.

I bought the rack in an attempt to tidy my overflowing pan drawer. The rack itself is great, it’s sturdy and holds its own under the weight of heavy cast iron skillets. The only thing I’d say is to make sure you measure the space it’s going into - the shape of my drawer has meant that I now have dead space beside the rack I can’t do much with - this is just a pre-planning point though not a reflection on the product itself!
