Hi , what is the charge capacity for this charger ? Will it charge a 100 AH battery ?

The GENIUS1 can charge a 100 amp-hour battery, but it will be an extended charge time if the battery is completely dead. For example, the GENIUS1 would take roughly 76-hours to recharge a dead battery. For comparison, the GENIUS2 would be 37-hours, the GENIUS5 would be 15-hours and the GENIUS10 would be 7-hours.

Will it auto resume maintaining the battery after a power cut ?

It should do as I understand anytime it is used it should start up from the last setting each time, so when I go to set up the charger next time it will automatically go to the 12V set up I used the first time.

Does anyone know if i have to disconnect the car battery leads first to use this charger? or can i literally pop the hood and connect it up?

You do not have to disconnect the battery from the car.

Which model can you suggest for an audi tt, 3.2 l. the car is rarely used, but i want to keep the battery topped up

The basic model I have found to be totally satisfactory….I use it on my Mazda 2…it was recommended by the AA guy who came to start my car. Much better than my old charger.
