Have a Little Pun: An Illustrated Play on Words (Book of Puns, Pun Gifts, Punny Gifts)

I sent this to 2 grandchildren, ages 7 and 9, after viewing the preview pages. Both sets of parents responded that they couldn't believe I sent it to the kids - some puns were very inappropriate! I then noticed that, even though this looks like a kids' picture book, a lot of the satisfied buyers were adults. The Amazon description should have clued me in - I did not see the implied meaning in the final sentences.

I bought this for my autistic 11 year old grandson. He loves puns and this is such a sweet book for him. He reads it over and over. I found it as someone I work with has it on the corner of her desk so when you stop to chat with her you can flip through the pun book. If you have someone in your life who loves or even just likes puns a little get them this book. It is very well illustrated as well!! Thanks.

This is a cute little book that does an excellent play on words. I bought this as a gift for my mom because she loves puns. This would be a good book for most people but I will let you know that it might not be suitable for children. There are several puns that lead to "suggestive language," for example "what the fox?"

It's punny...but I bought it for my 9 year-old niece, and some of the puns are at an adult level her mom didn't find appropriate.

Such a cute book! I saw this in a store first and had to get it! I love the illustrations and the plays on words.

This was a birthday present for my wife. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this book. The content is great and my wife loves the puns but the physical book is not put together well. It appears that every other page was not cut making half the pages unreadable.

I have bought SEVEN copies of this book, so far, for all of my closest friends babies. It is my go-to 1st birthday or baby shower gift add-on to whatever I get from their registries. The puns, illustrations, and everything about this book are just perfect, and it’s always a big hit. Honestly about to buy 1 more copy for my childless self.

The most whimsical, sigh-inducing and clever illustrations and puns... Like getting to open a treat over and over again.🙂 Her work is so intricate and thoughtful that I find some new detail every time I look. Can’t wait to see more from this artist - such cool and unique work!

Nice pictures but expensive for what it

Such a simple and cute book. I love the illustrations and the puns. My 2.5 year old son also enjoys flipping through this book before bed.
