I'm in the process of running every single street in my city. This takes me down some slightly sketchy areas, so I was looking for protection from aggressive dogs or people IF that were to ever be necessary. This product is a great way to keep pepper spray at the ready and out of the way when I don't need it (most of the time). I usually forget I'm wearing it. But I did test the "draw" capabilities with an identical training canister of water and the draw was quick and easy. So, this product is great for providing confidence alone. I hope I never have to use the spray, but I feel confident that I'll be able to easily if needed.

I purchased this for when I go running. It works great. The features on the strap are good and useful. I haven't had to use the spray in a real situation, but I have practiced and the spray comes out and can be sprayed very quickly. I bought the small size and have wondered if I should have bought a large. My wrist is 6" (about 15cm") around and the small fits very tight. It took a bit to get used to the fit, but it certainly stays in place. The excess velcro rubs on my clothes when I run and snags them because I can't get the other end of the strap up over it. It only covers about half. That's why I thought a large would be better. It is also thick and gets very hot to wear, especially when running. However, the strap can be wrapped around bag straps, bike handle bars, etc. to be handy when backpacking, hiking, cycling, etc. so it doesn't have to be worn on your wrist all the time.

As other people have said, the small wrist strap is small! I have tiny wrists and it fits, but just barely. I plan to attach it to either my running belt or vest, and it’ll work great for that. I also love the reflective trim on the strap and the little mini flashlights on both the strap and alarm.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fits good...works well...handy wrist location.

Haven't used yet. But the size small is really small. Doesn't even fit my 12 year old. Going to keep them because we can still use the pepper spray. Just don't fit the bracelets.

This runner or jogger pepper spray has a very comfortable wrist strap. I like the strap more than any other wrist strap for pepper spray. There is a small light in the strap. It's bright enough to tie shoes. The light is too weak to be useful in a self-defense situation. The range is not huge. It's about 3 to 6 feet. If you can carry a larger pepper spray, then consider it. A larger can will have a longer range. The Mace Sport Model is a good, larger pepper spray.

I had one of these before, and somehow lost it. I like the convenient placement, and the reflective band is very reflective. I really liked the light, but unfortunately mine stopped working after using it twice. I purchased new batteries (which cost about $12), but can't get the light to stay on with the switch anymore--hence the 4 stars. It works if you push the button, but not via the switch. It's too bad because the light was actually very good for illuminating the ground while running. However, the main reason I got it is for the spray, and that works just fine. I have very small wrists, but I got a large so I can strap it on the outside of my sleeve.

I am a truck driver that pulls over and jogs everyday. Some days I end up jogging in some neighborhoods that I’m not real comfortable in. I’m still really careful but this product does at least give me a little confidence that I can protect myself if need be. I’ve had it a couple of weeks now and what I like is it fits snug , doesn’t weigh much, and it’s easy to get to if I were to ever need it. After one week with it I also bought my wife one.
