As a potential buyer, you can be assured that my 5-star recommendation of this product has not been influenced by the seller, as this product was purchased at full price. For my purpose, this bedrest lounger is perfect primarily because it is taller than other bedrest loungers. Due to the increased back height, the lounger, in my opinion, offers a greater degree of back support to promote healthier body position/posture while reading in bed. Additionally, this lounger is both comfortable and firm, retaining its original shape even after almost 9 months of continual use. I would purchase this product again and highly recommend it for the reasons highlighted in this review.

out of the multiple wedges and bed loungers i tried for reading on a sofa or bed, this is the one i am using. i have a living room queen sized futon with pretty low sides - i use this facing sideways so i can read with my legs splayed out on the sofa. it keeps me upright, comfortable, and reading. i had also bought one like this ( a bedrest, different brand), but 18" tall (not 21" like this one), and that one was just too short for me-- no back or neck support. i am 5'8, so i'm not that tall. this gives me a good amount of support so i can read for hours and be ok. it's not like being hugged in a luxurious cloud, but it's not TOO firm, it's not uncomfortable, it's firm enough to keep me up and feeling good. the arms don't cuddle you, but i don't care. i learned from testing that it's hard to find just the right firm/thickness/height for you, and for me, so far this is the very best one -- not what would expect bc it's the cheapest out of the many i tried, but it's the best one so far.

Look no more if you’re looking for back, neck and arm support. This is large, squishy and really soft. It feels like a large high-quality pillow that has arms, or like a solid cuddle sesh. I was piling 3-4 pillows to get this same level of comfort.

I tend to be wary of amazon reviews but I agree with everyone else. I tried every bedrest I could find in the store and they were all too short to even support my shoulders (and I'm an average sized woman). They also offered little support. I swear if I sat on some of them they'd probably sink to the ground.This is probably bigger than you think and I love that. It's really sturdy and provides significant support. The high back is so comfortable. The suede feel is nice and makes it look pricey.

Just received yesterday so this is a 1 night & last night review.Thought the arms were long - useless. Maybe it is overstuffed but mine is bulging wirh filler & very firm - I don't sink into it but fighting trying to stay on it. Due to the firmness/overstuffing there is no lower back support.I sleep either inclined or sitting up due to medical reasons. This is the most uncomfortable I have been trying to rest. Also I thought Eclipse was black but this is blue.Yes it is tall enough to support my head but my head can't touch pillow due to the overstuffing.Too difficult to send back - will give away.

This is perfect for my little granddaughter and I to use on the bed when we want to cuddle up and read together. It would also work very well sitting on the floor with the pillow against the wall. It’s large enough for both of us, and firm enough to hold up next to the head board of the bed, yet soft enough to be very comfortable. The carrying handle is handy; I store the pillow in a corner of the bedroom when we aren’t using it. The fabric is very substantial, and the stuffing is just right. I studied these pillows, and read reviews and questions for a long time before I bought this. I made the right choice!

Just got this delivered yesterday and my husband is using it right now to sit up and read in bed. It is so comfortable, we are going to need to get another one at some point. It is soft enough that it can mold to your body but it is stuffed enough to lean against. The only issue is it came boxed without any plastic cover which seemed odd. However, I have seen items like these at Bed Bath and Beyond without covers, so this seems somewhat normal. The problem is if the box gets damaged, as another reviewer experienced, it can damage the bedrest. If I purchase another one I will request that they put a plastic cover on it.

Took a long time to get back in stock, but that hardly reflects on the product itself. This is by far the best pillow for sitting up in bed/extra back support I've ever used. The material is very soft and its stuffed just the right amount, not too much and not too little. Would absolutely recommend.Edit: 30 minutes after writing this review the seams holding the right arm on the inside all popped open. Normally I'd take a star off for something like that, but in all honesty the stitches look very close together and well done, however the thread used is a bit thin. I'm gonna have to call user error on this one, still a bummer though. =(
