So fun having a robot pet.
Adorable and funny! It's like having a pet. This was my son's big present for Christmas and it's so cool. Easy to charge. We have an iphone charger and we just plug in his USB into that to the wall and he charges pretty fast. We haven't learned all the things to do to teach him tricks yet.

Three Year Old Loved His Pet Dinosaur
This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my 3 yr 8 month grandson. I had him in my bedroom charging when grandas brought him upstairs to look out at Christmas lights. Naturally, he spotted him quickly. He was fascinated. You don't have to use the remote which was good since I still needed batteries for that. He thoght it was great when thedino sniffed around and made cute mewing sounds, then became terrified when it started chasing him. Luckily I have a low platform bed, which he quickly jumped on. So after that he laid on it and leaned over and squealed and laughed and had a great time. We have played with him now everyday. He no longer gets scared and loves using the remote to make him fart and bark like a dog. Amazon had the best price, $59, making this,a great value.

Funny little robot dino
My 5 year old loves this toy. He is a dinosaur kid- every book he reads and every show he watches must have a dinosaur. This guy is very cute - the way he can balance is amazing, and he spins, burps, farts and laughs at the kids. The only trouble we have is that he doesn't hold a charge long, and we have to plug him in before they'd like to, but my son even likes how his eyes change color as he charges - red when low and green when he's ready to play with again. He's also pretty durable. We've had him for over a year, and he's still running strong, even with my kiddo sleeping with it in his bed sometimes. Overall, a great buy.

Overall, I would not purchase again.
I purchased this item for my 9 year old son at Christmas. The initial reaction was that of great excitement! It promises a lot of exciting tricks that are rare in the toy industry period. However, the excitement was short lived.BIGGEST COMPLAINTS: We both struggled with getting it to follow commands, and that was AFTER waiting 3+ hours for it to have enough charge. Even after it was 'fully charged,' we were only able to play with it for approximately an hour and a half before it needed to go back on the charger. Perhaps it would save a lot of battery life if it were not constantly on the go. It does not stop. My son would be trying to give it a command and out of nowhere, perhaps it misread the command, but it would take off across the room.BEST FEATURE: It entertained my son, which was refreshing in today's world of video games, consoles, tablets, etc. It was nice to see him being a kid again and actually playing with a TOY, not staring at a screen.ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:The directions were a bit extreme. 17 pages is a lot to take in. An hour and a half of play time with it active was definitely not enough time to be able to completely learn all of the commands and tricks it offers. The quick reference directions did help. The remote was a nice addition to the toy, giving options to how you'd like to interact with it, however it was not really necessary and struck me as just another item that would end up in the bottom of the toy box.It had decent stability. It only toppled over a couple times when playing with it, and they were for a legitimate reason (i.e. the cat running by, it ran into a hot wheels). Size was as depicted in the original post.Overall, given what I know now, I do not think I would purchase it again. I do believe it could be worthy of more stars with some adjustments. It would seem the company is on the right path, just perhaps not quite there yet.PICTURES: 1.) Jester, remote, packaging, directions displaying the "cheat sheet." 2.) Zoomer Dino, Jester, next to Zoomer Chomplingz, Tiger Tail, for size comparison.

Fun Dino toy
Fun Dino toy, it's one of my son's favorites. It's a little hard for me to understand how to program and control Zoomer, but my son thinks its so funny, and loves it. It's keeps a charge for about a day, and then you have to recharge it, which takes maybe an hour. It sure beats buying batteries!

I am actually very disappointed in this item
I am actually very disappointed in this item. It was suppose to arrive by Christmas but arrived way after Christmas. We followed all the instructions for this item as far as the first time use making sure you charge it first, so we did just that. Well once it was charged it worked (fully charged) for 15-20 minutes then we would have to charge it again. The remote works great, but most of the time you have to be super close to the dinosaur for it to work properly and not have any objects in the way. Well it have only been a couple of weeks, but already the charge on the item only lasts for a few minutes (around 5 minutes or less) charging it take a lot longer too. I would not recommend this for anyone wanting an interactive toy that would work for a lot longer then a few minutes that you can enjoy. It is a great product but that battery life needs something done about it before I would consider giving it more then 1 star. (The idea and programming behind it is great for children but its just a short battery life)
