I am sorry to say this device couldn’t keep up with the iPhones airplay and kept dropping frames. Both were less the 5 ft from the router.I don’t believe any of the 5 star reviews are real.

This product states it's easy to use w/all phones such as Android, Google, and Apple; however, that was not my experience. It should be easy to mirror or cast to this device based on the description. Android and Google systems may make it easy to do so; but the Apple iOS does not. You may be able to work it out so that it does some what work w/an Apple iPhone, but in my opinion if you cannot hook an item up and have it working in 5 mins the way the manufacturer advertises it to work, it is not a good product. I have sent mine back and would not recommend purchasing this to use w/an iPhone. It seems to me the easiest method to mirror or cast from an iPhone is the Apple HDMI adapter.

I really like to want this product for the price that is very far from many and the description that it will yield 4K UHD. BUT to my disappointment, i have tried to installed this product for 2 hours (not so much for plug and play) and after am able to installed it to my 4K UHD TV connected to my multimedia computer, i can browse and all the standard function of a computer from my TV, but when i tried to watch my movie collections from my multimedia computer all i have is blank black screen. I am an IT/Audio/Video Specialist.

Most disappointing is the limited sources this can mirror. I bought this for Amazon Prime Video, and Spectrum OnDemand. A piracy protocol called "HDCP" apparently blocks any licensed contact from going over the air. On the Mac computer, that error actually popped up while trying to play content on Amazon. You can browse all you want, but no viewing. It did play Youtube and PlutoTV content quite well, and there was no delay, so 2 stars overall. The product was quite difficult to install and actually get working with mirroring. Someone should really go thru the instructions and clarify many things. At least is was fairly inexpensive to give it a try.

Works well when it does but after about an hr to an hr and a half it over heats and stops working. Android tablet with a smart tv with no internet. Some Netflix does not work some does all Amazon does not Google play at all.

I really wanted to like this unit but it just didn't deliver. The set up was relatively easy and yes, it streams audio and video from a computer to a HDTV but I bought it for gaming and the lag is just too noticeable to use it for gaming. I returned it.

Mirroring is difficult. Often the device won't mirror phone to TV. Sometimes it connects, like 1 out of 10 try's. Extremely frustrating. Once mirroring is successful, there is a big delay lag time mirroring to TV. It is impossible to watch any show! Horrible product.

It works for what it is designed for, which is a WiFi connection. It will not broadcast from a mobile hotspot. Trying to get my hotspot to connect and broadcast things like Netflix or YouTube doesn’t work. I can play videos from my phone library and for some reason YouTube Kids both broadcast to the TV. I will keep trying, but for now I cannot get all apps to broadcast to the TV with just my mobile hotspot and this Dongle.
