I had the hardest time figuring out why it wouldn’t stick but then silly me!! I didn’t take a backing off! It was a little difficult to Separate the backing from the film but once I did it was soo much more cooperative! Reading the comments I think that’s what most of the people’s issues are! The backing is so difficult to remove they think there isn’t one!

So, I thought I was going to have to peel but I didn't t so that's a plus. I added soap and water to the window and the product. That was easy. However, the 1st part of the role the corners would not stay stuck. I tried to rewet the product and windows but no. So that part is horrible because I was worried if the others were defect too. Another part did not stick either. I think I will be another brand for my other window and to replace the ones that dis work. Update* it's only been like two weeks and they are already starting to peel off. Just because your product is affordable it doesn't mean it should be cheap in quality.

Getting the film off was super difficult. Was just about to give up when I finally got it. The tape trick mention by another purchaser did not work for me. Once the film came off, I just got a wash cloth and wiped it over both sides and Placed it on… Could not have been easier. In the middle of putting on Backsplash and realized I did not like the clear glass anymore… Spur of the moment decision to purchase this… Extremely pleased.... AND it does stay on. Its a little translucent, but I know that when I purchase it. Vey happy with purchase Also couldn’t beat the price.

I'm very impressed. It was easier than I expected. Clean inside and outside of windows, cut to length. And, apply A lot of soapy water to film and windows, and a squeegee to get the air bubbles out, This provides the privacy I was looking for so other apartments can't look directly into my home but not hinder the natural light coming in. I messed up measuring the length, so it's not symmetric for both widows, but that's my fault.

Came in a bent box via UPS and as a result the roll had a crease in it and continued to allow air to get beneath it. I ended up taping it up and then got sick of how trashy it looked and took it down. The entire length is creased. I've used similar products before with luck and I think this was UPS's fault because the quality of the product appeared to be decent. It's now serving as cabinet shelf liners so it's not an entire loss.

This product looks how it is described, however, it is extremely difficult to know how to cut it straight-it continually curls and is very slippery, and there is no part of it that peels off at any angle, like the instructions somehow indicate. I did not know I would need a squeegee, either. I wish I could get a refund after cutting it because this was a terrible experience.

I was pleased with the film until I tried to attach it to the glass. As soon as you rub it on and let go it falls off. I tried and tried to get it to stick but it doesn't. You don't have to take it off, it falls off by itself.

Pic shows this product on the left, and a rain-glass effect film on the right. It ended up being too solid for this particular window, but worked amazingly to block a horrible view onto the roofline of our carport (small square window photo).I think this would work really well for a bathroom window or something similar - you really won't be able to see anything out of it once this is on your window. It does block a lot of light (ideal for our sun-blasted front of house) so I'd find something more sheer if you want privacy AND light. Happy with this stuff overall and would buy more for the right application.
