Colors: A Bugs Pop-up Concept Book (David Carter's Bugs)

David A. Carter is a mega-talent. Adore the whimsy and playfulness of his pop-ups. Wish I had every single book! Bugs are an especially good animal to draw because they can be wildly colorful in real life, so anything goes, and their basic shapes and parts lend themselves to fantasy (antennae! wings! many legs!). This adult got a kick out of Carter's book and kids will, too.

It's a simple book, but the pop ups are striking and fun. I think it's a great addition to books about color, but IMO this book is geared towards 9 months-3 years rather than 3-6.

simple book! So cute though. Perfect for little baby. Just dont leave unattended as they will probably tear the pages.

my nephews loved this book, pair it with a box of crayons and paper and you have a great gift.

Beautiful for reading over and over but a bit too short to me. Worth buying for the popping eyes and smiles. The 2yr old is thrilled to reread them. Ty

I bought this book after reading a different Bugs Pop Up book by the same author that my daughter LOVED and read multiple times over. I'm giving this particular book 3 stars because my daughters like it and the pop ups are bright and colorful. But I wouldn't have purchased it had I seen it first. It's a very simple book, no story, only the colors stated on each page. It isn't very long either. Just a few colors included. Pretty lame.

Este libro de David A. Carter es un poco más grande que los otros dos que tengo de él. Está muy bien porque aparecen diferentes bichos cada uno de un color distinto para que los niños aprendan los colores en inglés. Me gusta mucho.
