Love it!
I do not claim to be an expert photographer, but this lens has made me look good. I do not know what else to say. I use it on my Olympus Mark IV and don't believe I have taken it off since it arrived. The quality of the zoom, to me, is phenomenal. Look at the photos and judge for yourself.

A Good Lens, Considering What It Is
Right off the bat, this is a surprisingly good lens, given what it is trying to do. Is it going to be as sharp as the 12-100 f/4.0 Pro? No. But it doesn't cost nearly as much, and it has an even more flexible range. (For the record, I am using an Olympus OMD E-M10 mark III.)I have a several small, bright prime lenses. I also have 2 long zoom lenses (the Olympus 35-100 f/2.8, and the Panasonic 100-300 f/4.0-5.6). I have also determined that there are times when I don't want to carry everything, like hiking the national parks in Utah. I tried carrying just a wide angle (Laowa 7.5 f/2.0 or Olympus 12 f/2.0 and the 35-100 f/2.8), but I still wished I had something in between and something longer a couple of times. There were also a couple times on narrow ledges where I really didn't want to be changing lenses. So, I thought I'd give the 12-200 a try as an all-in-one travel lens.My first impression was that it felt more solid and substantial than a "budget" lens ought. It was certainly more solid than the Olympus 14-150 I had for a while. Second, it is certainly a "bigger" lens, for those of us used to non-Pro micro 4/3 lenses. I've tried some lower light test shots at both ends of the zoom range, and I was pleasantly surprised. Auto focus was reasonably quick, and sharpness was just fine for my amateur/hobbyist needs. An added bonus for me, is that my wife can use my camera when I'm not around to put the "right" lens on it for her. With the 12-200 she can use my camera pretty much like she uses her little point-'n-shoot.If you are looking for an all-in-one travel zoom, and your budget will stretch beyond the Olympus 14-150mm f/4.0-5.6 or the Panasonic 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 but not to the Pro lenses, and you are willing to trade a little more size and weight to get a wider wide, and a longer long, and a little nicer lens, I would definitely recommend the Olympus 12-200 f/3.5-6.3.

Zoom of Olympus 12-200 Beats 12-100
First photo at 200mm...Second at 12mm. Great lens for casual street photography. Super international purchase from Amazon.

As close to doing everything for a 4/3 lens as possible.
A lot of lens for the price. Not a lens for shallow depth of field or low light but, wonderfully awesome for one lens for everything else. The best 'All-in-One', 'Do Everything' micro four thirds lens. Like anything that try'sto do everything you find it isn't possible but this sure comes close. Delivered fast, everything was as expected, perfect.

Amazing Range Coverage But Heavy
This lens is great because it's minimum focal length is 12mm. And going all the way up to 200mm is ridiculous range. It will cover almost all your needs. It's minimum focus distance is about 8.5 inches. Which is good. The only drawback is that it can be a tad bit heavy. And it gets especially front heavy when fully extended. It's the trade-off you get for covering such a huge range. But it can be worth it. I find it great for sports photography where the 200mm range can shine.

One lens to rule them all!
The convenience of a zoom with such a large range is perfect for your travel MFT. It covers the range of three of my separate lenses. For whatever reason it was almost $200 cheaper to purchase from the AmazonUK site. It shipped from Germany but was a new lens as promised. DHL seriously fumbled the shipping however and after 10 calls to customer service they finally transferred it to USPS for the last leg. Arrived undamaged. Still early to rate its photo qualities but initial results look fine..Update Oct 2023. Results from a few overseas trips: No problems with rainy weather in Ireland. Very versatile zoom. Somewhat soft focus on edges but only if you drastically crop. Not a factor for travel and landscape work. Works very well for me as a single solution travel lens.
