Glad I bought this thing.
I love this unit. It’s a little bigger than I’d like, but it certainly gets the job done. I’d say it catches about 90%+ of the flies it encounters, and the other 10% it didn’t catch are because there was another, brighter light on nearby that the fly was attracted to, but in complete darkness, this thing does a great job at ridding an area of flying insects. It’s really wild because you never realize just how many flying insects are in your home. In the two years I’ve owned them, I’ve never changed the sticky pad in either of the two units of these that I’ve bought and I rarely notice anything flying around the house, but somehow there’s a massive pile of fly carcasses in each of the catch trays of the two units I have. Would have an issue recommending this thing to anybody. My only complaint would be that (and I don’t know if this has changed since I purchased mine two years ago), but, the power brick/USB outlet plug that it comes with is garbage. There must be a short in it somewhere because it would make it hard to activate the unit and it would only sometimes come on. Luckily, the USB charge cable is separate from the power brick. Once I realized that the brick was the issue, I replaced it with one off of Amazon and the unit worked like a charm.

Doesn’t work
The product would not work for more then 5 seconds when I installed it right out the box. Tried many different things before contacting the supposed small husband wife owned business. When I heard back from customer service via email was told to not use the power block that came with it and try my cellphone one instead. This fixed the power issue and will now stay on. Problem being that’s my cellphone charger and I’m not gonna use it for the brand new product I bought that came with its own defective charging block. Emailed customer service back and told them it will work with my block but needed them to send me a replacement for theirs and was told they needed to forward my request to their director. Well first of all though it was a small husband wife business as it says on the customer service card in the box. Now it’s been almost a month and haven’t heard anything more. Don’t buy this will be a wasted of your money. Not to mention it hasn’t caught any bugs because the fan is too weak.

Not worth it.7/3/2021! --------UPDATE 6/25/2022
I bought this in August and used it daily on the automatic setting till late September, cleaned it and put it away. It worked great at that time. We had a warm spill and some gnats got in so I got the trap back out, needless to say it would not work, the auto lite comes on the fan will not work as well as the on switch will not work. Not worth the money sorry to say. Amazon return policy is only 30 days on this. UPDATE 6/25/2022 After I left this review for the first of two I purchased which ceased to work after a couple of months the second one went as well. So I tried a usb adapter I had around and to my surprise it came to life. Upon checking the amps required for the motor and the usb adapter output that came with the unit, they did not match. I purchased a adapter from Amazon with a higher amp output 0.5 ( see attached picture) . They are both working like they should, I keep mine on auto setting (dusk to dawn) I hope this will help some of you out there!! Stay safe out there in this crazy world.......

I like blue light emitting objects
I am leaving a review because this is at least the 5th email i have received asking for a review. I am sure somewhere in the fine print it says that you MUST leave a review for this product. I am not quite sure why i need 5 emails to encourage me to leave a review for this item but i am probably also obligated to detail why i only have given this product a 4 star review. 1. According to the HR department one can only receive a 5 star review if the item is perfect, hence no item is perfect and we want to encourage the producer to create a perfect product, so you are only allowed a maximum 4 star review despite a 5 star appearing to be available. 2. While this item did catch a number of fungus gnats in my living room there are some that escaped. This reason hasn't been confirmed by an outside source as it is possible, although unlikely, in January that a fungus gnat could have entered my house from outside, in January, in Chicago. 3. This item emits a pretty blue light. If you like blue light emitting objects this is ideal for you. 4. No mosquitoes have been caught in the trap as of yet. See #2 for it is January in Chicago. I do currently have plans to travel with this blue light emitting object to Michigan in May to test it's mosquito catching capabilities and provide video evidence of it's awesomeness. 5. This object also creates a soothing hum. It you like objects that create a soothing hum while emitting a blue light then i 100% recommend this item.

Picks up some bugs when it works.
Placed unit in upstairs bathroom, I had a knat invasion come in from a dead rodent in the attic. Unit was on for 3 days then shut off and wouldn't come back on again. I unplugged it and after a day I plugged it back in and it worked again. Have been through several cycles of this so far. Seems like something is over heating(fan?)and it won't turn back on until it cools down. It was cheap so the wife said as long as it comes back on whatever. It seemed to suck up a bunch of bugs when I changed the sticky pad. We had the rode ts removed from the attic and it's there entry was closed. So It will likely sit in a closet or be given to someone, not a huge deal.

Great "Bang" For Your "Bug"!
To cut right to the chase, THIS IS A FANTASTIC PRODUCT! I had an out-of-control fungus gnat infestation in my small (and very tidy), plant-free apartment, and could not pinpoint any logical or obvious breeding location or food source anywhere. Once I noticed the first gnats, they quickly invaded my refrigerator and even my freezer. They found their way into my bathroom and my bedroom shortly thereafter, even disrupting my sleep when one would land on my exposed skin. They flew in my eyes. They flew up my nose. They entered my mouth when I would speak, yawn, or take a deep breath. They were merciless when I attempted any sort of food preparation. This is the situation I found myself in after only a few days of seeing the first gnats! So, after doing some googling, and trying everything from apple cider vinegar/dish soap traps to old-fashioned and unsightly fly paper (neither to any significant avail), I was at my wit's end when I discovered the Eon Luxe bug trap device. I bought two units so I could have coverage in the areas most affected (and may be buying two more for even better coverage). Being that I was somewhat skeptical as to this product's advertised efficacy, I am AMAZED at how quickly and how well it worked (and continues to work!) for me. After just a couple of days of operating the units 24/7, I no longer have an "infestation" but only a very minor annoyance remaining. Not many products actually do what they say they're going to do. This one does! My traps have caught hundreds and hundreds of "babies" in particular, which means they are killed before they can breed and continue their never-ending, maddening "circle of life." The unit comes with a USB power supply, which may not necessarily be ideal for people such as seniors, but I have been personally assured by the owners of the company, after bringing this to their attention, that they have taken customer feedback into account regarding this, and that USB-to-AC power adapters will be included at some point in future shipments. Until then, adapters are easily found for less than $5, so that is no reason to pass on this product. The Eon Luxe has helped restore my sanity and given me peace of mind that NOW I AM IN CONTROL!

Hit or Miss
I originally saw this on a Facebook Ad. It seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. For the last 2 years, fruit flies have seemed to LOVE our home especially in the warmer months. We were having some plumbing issues last year so I thought the water was attracting them. Wrong. Plumbing fixed and they are back with a vengeance. Fast forward to May 31st when this baby arrived. Boy was I excited! I immediately plugged it up and placed it right in the problem area. I'll admit, I was anxious to see if it worked and I checked it hourly. There were so many flying around, one was bound to get sucked in there, right? Well after about 8 hours, one is exactly what it caught. I was so disappointed. I didn't want this to be a one star product. :( I even have a picture, which I will add with about 5 fruit flies sitting on a bowl of vinegar(my old method) RIGHT. NEXT. TO. THE. MACHINE. After a week of running this thing AND checking it quite frequently, with the one lone fruit fly on the sticky sheet, I was prepared to return the product and go back to my old methods, which were at least catching a few a day. Well time got away from me and another week passed, I still kept it running out of habit. I even moved it to several different places. Yesterday, (6/18/2020) I decided to check the sticky pad, fully expecting that one single fly to still be there.....I was wrong! There were a few more on the pad. Although, I wasn't impressed, I couldn't believe it. Now, I will say, I thought this product would be the answer to my prayers and rid all of the flies and it has not, there is still a significant amount of fruit flies flying around the area, which is why I'm giving this 2 stars. Does this product work? Possibly. It depends on where you place it I guess, and you have to patient. Will it rid you of all your flying pests in your home? No. Definitely not. 1st image: bowl sitting next to the machine 2nd image: after 3 weeks with it running continuously

Works, automatic feature is a God send, dim looking ultraviolet is good at attracting the bugs.
So far this trap has worked great. It is mostly quiet, doesn't require bait, can operate off of a phone battery. It doesn't have any branding on it so it looks like a smart speaker so I can put it just about anywhere. The traps automatic mode works great at judging the light level to turn on at. I do live in an area without street lights so the nights here are pitch dark and as such I might have an advantage there. This bug trap is awesome, I have had a problem for years with soil gnats living in my potted plants. The first night I started using this, the trap caught around 5 of them! That is great! Now I might only ever see one every two weeks flying around, the rest are in the trap. It also has been able to catch insects such as small beatles that find their way past my window air conditioner. One night I was playing on my PS4, the bugs were swarming around the flat screen. I put the Eon luxe beside the TV and plugged it into my phone battery. After about 5mins there were no bugs on the TV at all, they all seemed to really like the ultraviolet to the point of prefering it to the bright tv! I also had a problem with my trap it was very noisy, most likely a faulty bearing. I contacted Eon luxe and they responded immediately. They really are a small team working on thiese, they also seem to be native English speakers they understood my trouble and sent me a whole new trap. They were respectful and polite.

I'm not sure it really works
... But I keep it running nonetheless! There were definitely some fruit flies and other insects dead inside, but plenty of alive ones outside. Was using it during summer and I think helped somewhat but never totally got rid of them until the winter came and they all naturally took a nap for a while.

Muy simple y no es proporcional al precio que se paga por su adquisición, el ventilador de succión es muy débil con esfuerzos logra succionar moscos.
