YHTAUTO Front Power Window Regulator Passenger Side With 2-Pin Motor Assembly for Mini Cooper 2002-2005 Hatchback, 2005 Convertible

Installed in my 2004 MIN Cooper S R53 to replace the passenger side window regulator (FOR THE THIRD TIME). Installs with relatively few issues, the bolt pattern is close enough to the factory part not to be an issue and the cables manage well. My biggest issue is that after installation UP is down and DOWN is up. I double-checked to make sure that there wasn't some bizarre issue with the plug, but the plug is "keyed" to only fit a specific direction so the issue lies within the motor orientation of the part as delivered. I could probably disassemble the door and change the motor around... but not today, not after messing with this thing for 2 hours.The motor works smoothly (in the reverse of expected direction) and seems to actually be a tad faster than a stock MINI/BMW part.

not sure about the durability of the product; it was installed very quickly though. I had previously purchased another regulator, hoping to re use my motor. that didn't work out well on account of the problem being in my motor. watch a few u-tube vids' and don't cut the tie strap which is holding the window track guide in place until after the thing is bolted into the door, set the window in, hand tighten the spoke bolt which holds the glass to the glides, and then cut the tie strap. Also; the comments which had me worried about the direction of the motor spinning relative to the up down of the window switch; this unit works as intended, up is up, and not reversed like some experienced.

I have an 05 min R50 production date after May. The holes lined up and the toggle switch operated the correct way. This part matched up perfectly to the previous part.

Holes didn't match up just right. Had to bend to make work. Does not operate backwards like some claimed. Overall good I'd order same one again.
