I'm a deer hunter with chronic cold feet. I've tried silk liners with warm socks, changing boots in the stand, keeping my boots laced loosely, using those chemical packs for feet, I've even tried heated insoles. None of that worked, heated insoles a little. These babies you can slip into your socks with some adhesive Velcro, they get so hot I thought my feet might burn. I power these plus a heated shirt I made with 20-24k mah USB power bank. I use two power banks so I can rotate them between sits to charge. Downside of these guys? There is absolutely no retention from the main USB cable to the cable that goes to the sheet. So I duct taped them together. This morning one slipped out on my left foot, miserable morning. So I just duct taped it better. Anyway, if they would fix this, these things would be 6 stars.

The item does not produce consistent heat for both connected elements. I would not recommend this for cold environments. I was trying to put together my own heated socks on the cheap. I do not feel this was successful as the elements just didn't put out the desired heat on both sides. It seems like only one side will work at a time.

I have a set of these USB Carbon Fiber Heating pads that I put under my jacket and sweater when riding my ebike. I pair them up with a regular portable power bank. They are nice and warm when I ride. I thought I would have to buy something that would cost much more to get the value that these offer at such a lower cost. They are so easy to use. they are strong being made from Carbon Fiber. A great value product.

I had hoped to use these to put inside my handlebar poggies to keep my hands warm while riding. I installed them and plugged a 4000ma 2.1a battery pack and left the bike sit for 30 minutes. They were barely any heat and the battery pack was already down 2000ma and this without riding the bike into any wind. They'd probably be ok in shoes but would be very strange to have cables running up my legs to the battery pack.

No comfort for top of feet, below 30 degrees they do not provide much help

I put them in a hand muff warmer. Worked great.

I disagree with those reviewers , who say that the item is not hot and not powerful enough. May be they were testing it on the open air, but on the open air even regular electric blanket does not feel warm. I am using different USB powered heating pads (since I work in a cold office) and they all are excellent for so-called "trapped heat" situations - when you insert the pad under your clothes or in your socks or sit on it. Old fashion AC powered heating pads cannot be placed under clothes - they are too powerful and will burn you in a minute. But I found that this pair of tiny USB powered pads work perfect when I insert them into my sleeves or pants or socks. I can sit all day with them without any discomfort - just enough heat to keep me warn without burning.

works good they get warm enough and the wire is plenty long enough, The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a way to set heat '' low med high '' So you plug it in and they start to get hot then you unplug them when your feet get warm,

These are too small to be foot sized - about 6 inched long by an inch and half wide - and they don't really warm up your feet. Yes, they do get warmer than room temperature, but only enough that it's noticeable. My recommendation is to buy something else.
