I believe Pines Brand to be the Best Alfalfa Tablet on the market thus far!I’ve switched from Jensen’s Brand to Pines recently, and since beginning the Pines non-GMO Organic brand, I've been feeling differently. I still receive the same benefits from alfalfa that I have always received, (same mg and same amt as Jensen’s brand) but I noticed it today—a subtle feeling of clarity is present, where before it was slightly…fuzzy. It’s hard to describe, but anyone diligently striving to maintain a non-GMO organic lifestyle will be able to comprehend this feeling. I feel like I have alfalfa + clear focus.I’ve noticed that my body usually lets me know very quickly whether something is good for me or not, and needless to say, lessons learned on that spectrum, and doing my best to stay clear of GMO and other toxins.I’m so happy to have found Pines Brand Alfalfa. Spending the few extra $ is so worth it now that I notice the clear focus / clarity I have with taking the Pines non-GMO and organic brand.Other benefits and comparison's:- Pines brand has a smooth coating and goes down very easily. Jensen’s brand always got caught in my throat due to the graininess. Even just one would get stuck and believe me I had plenty of water to wash it down!- Pines brand comes in a VERY WELL PACKAGED quality glass bottle, with layers of good quality bubble wrap and packing material.- Pines brand puts a wad of cotton in the jar to keep the contents from breaking and getting damaged in the shipping. Jensen's brand was never packed so well, and a fraction of the tablets were disintegrated back to grain by the time I was 3/4 of the way down the bottle.Overall, I’m a new happy customer and will continue to enjoy this great product from a brand that is putting health and happiness first!

My first intro to Wheatgrass was in the juiced form. I was at a healing center in San Diego. We drank shots 3 x daily and used it in other ways. At that time, I was told only the juice is beneficial as juiced WG is the closest thing to human blood and is what can help heal disease. Being a busy person, I wanted to take short-cuts in my day to day life, and seeing all these WG supplements sounded so awesome. But now after 5 years of trying to use WG this way, very intensely the last year, I have to admit it has never given me the health benefits I felt from actual WG JUICE. In fact, I've noticed that taking these in the morning not only doesn't perk me up but causes me to feel lethargic -- keeping in mind, I'm one of those people with auto-immune problems and my body does react pretty immediately to anything I introduce. It's taken me a while to admit, but for me the whole-plant supplement is not only void of the benefits I'd been seeking but may be causing fatigue and gastronomical issues due to grasses being so hard for humans to digest. I can't fault Pines for their product, but I have to, at this point, recall the expert knowledge I was provided by the healing center and admit it is the juice that has the healing properties. I feel a little silly for having taken these expecting only the juice portion of the WG to exhibit benefits without taking into consideration that I was now consuming the indigestible fiber.

Gives me sooo much energy and alertness!! I battled chronic fatigue for years and I haven’t felt fatigue at all since taking this every day. I think the recommended dosage is a bit more than you need. I just take two supplements in the morning and two in the afternoon. Gives me the energy to get through the day! Amazing stuff!! I’m buying the bigger bottle next time!!The only warning I have is don’t take if you are going to drink alcohol! I took it the morning after having a few drinks and I felt sick and threw up right after. It doesn’t mix well if there is ANY alcohol in your system because it works to cleanse your system of toxins. Just FYI.

I was purchasing another wheatgrass + alfalfa product but it's not available online and I have to drive a distance to get it. The Pines Green Duo ingredients appeared to be the same. However, the pieces of the product in the Pines Green Duo are larger and even in a blender it doesn't blend very well with water. (The other product I purchase is more finely milled, blends with water in the blender in 5 seconds, and stays distributed in the water.) The Pine Green Duo blends in the blender all right, but stays that way for less than one minute. Then the particles float to the bottom of the cup or pitcher, creating a sludge at the bottom.
