Love these books for newly independent readers. They are just the right length and just challenging enough to keep new readers engaged, and are such cute stories! Highly recommend!

I purchased each book in this series as a gift for a friend who I work with and shipped them to her daughter weekly. The books are great, colorful and the story is simple and easy to follow! I am very happy with this series!

Oh wow, this one brought back the memories from long, long ago of my own playdate struggles to find something that everybody wanted to play! It's also very timely, I've been seeing my own kid start to deal with this problem as well.Yasmin's parents are, as always, sweet and supportive, but give her space to try to solve the problem herself. And of course, following the tried-and-true Yasmin template, she does find a creative solution that gets everybody playing together for a satisfying end.(Oh yeah, might as well note that Baba is shown helping Yasmin prepare snacks for her guests, as these books continue to do a stellar job of showing both of Yasmin's parents participating in caretaking work.)

My friend is now collecting Yasmins!

My 2nd grader really enjoys reading these books. Great books, with positive messages.
