Replacement Headband Repair Parts for Sony MDR-1000X WH-1000XM2 MDR 1000X WH 1000XM2 Headphones (Black)

I am really happy with the fit and performance of this part. Shipping took a while longer than most products on Amazon, but it was worth it. The part seamlessly fits where the previous, cracked part was removed. The color is a perfect match and it appears to be as strong as the original.

Pretty pleased that this ended up fitting my headphones as expected. Great quality.

I am happy with the right hand side. Therefore no issues with the right side. Not so happy with the left that is why I give it 3 stars. See images for left hand side fit. The part does not fit and the inner grove is too tight. Therefore causing stress on the part. I know this part is going to break at some point due to the fact that it is under stress. Overall both parts screw holes seem to hug the screw. We would see how long it lasts . In addition, the seller recommended using tape. Tape does not fix the issue. Is not about the part separating. Is about the inner groove being too tight that it forces it to expand. Definitely looks better in comparison to the other replacement part in Amazon. The other parts seems 3D printed and this seems and feels more legit.

Fit perfectly. No issues replacing the broken part. Replaced on a forgot generation 1000x pair of headphones. Will e buying another to replace the other side. Takes a long time to get to you but worth the wait and MUCH cheaper than buying a new pair of headphones. Thanks heaps!!!

Even after tightening the pieces back in really tight, it's still loose enough to derail when you move the earpiece. The ends of the rails don't quite seat into the channels tightly and flex just enough to pop out. Once you get the two pieces properly affixed, it definitely requires glue to stay.

My wife has a pair of beige Sony WH1000xm2 noise cancelling headphones and they’re awesome. Except for the fact that the headphones are prone to cracking. This piece and about 5 mins of time with a YouTube instructional video and we were back to a “like new” pair.

I needed both sides of this piece and from looking at the product description i gathered it was both inside and outside pieces. THIS IS ONLY THE INSIDE PIECE
