I bought this book for my daughter, it was recommended to her by another coach.She is delighted with it, she coaches women's football and is manager of a women's team.She also plays cricket and other sports the book she finds useful for all aspects of team leadership.She says she would recommend it.

Leadership training: How can your team know how to lead unless you teach them. This book, coupled with your buy in can make the difference between an okay season and a great one. Winning is said to solve all problems. That is not true. Problems arise during winning or losing seasons, and how your team reacts to those will last much longer than the result of a game or match. This is not the only book on leadership I have used, but it is one of the best. For those looking for a place to start, this is a great first step. For those who have something already in their program, this could be the next step. Great program and I would recommend you buy this book. It is a difference maker.

Awesome way to look at being a leader. Working with high school students to better select their captains and to understand what being a leader takes. Book came as expected. Seller did as promised, and in good condition. Almost new.

Excellent book. I have been using this book for three years to teach leadership to our Division III football team leaders.

Coaches (myself included) complain regularly about the rarity of a good leader on their teams. I have always tried to give my best players advice on how to lead, when to speak up & what makes a great leader but it was very time consuming. This book is a phenomenal collection of advice and techniques for team leaders. I am excited to use it this year.
