These work good I have some trouble getting the tabs to slide down. Have to move them forward push down and slide back I bought to keep dog from scratching my door this has work great for that.

The car guard itself is solid. My dog loves leaning on the car door to stick her head out the window and after a hike or walk in the dirt, the nastiness is clearly seen. Using the car guard, I have much better peace of mind. After about a month of use, the guard shows no sign or wear and tear. The mesh pockets are a decent size as well. I use them to house air purifying bags, gloves, and a travel dog bowl. Now, As for them staying in the window- THEY DON'T The tabs are useless on their own. You slide them in the window- and all it takes to pull them out is even the slightest of pressure. I'm sure if an ant walked across the car door guard, the ant would have enough strength to pull the car guard out. That being said, it does come with velcro stickers that can be used to provide a more secure fit. These velcro tabs work. Even with the window opening and closing- providing just a slight bit of pull on the guard- the velcro tabs keep the guard in place HOWEVER- don't even think about pulling off the car guard. The glue is not strong enough to handle that much pull. I made that mistake with one door and now I have one car guard that is solidly in place while the other falls out every so often. Therefore... the velcro gives you that false sense of security that you may be able to take the car guard off and replace it as you please- but that is not the case. To remedy this, I just bought industrial strength velcro- search it on amazon its like 6 bucks- and voila. the car guard stays when i want it. and I can remove it as i please. So yea, I had to buy another product (6 bucks and super easy to apply...like. SUPER easy) but now I have a functioning product that works exactly like I want it. Please Kurgo... give us stronger glue on the velcro tabs provided in the box

Covers the doors pretty well. Not a perfect fit but what do you expect from other than a custom made door guard?

I bought this protector for my 2 big pitbulls. Sometimes they get excited in the back seat and start standing on the door and scratches it with their nails. I must say it is sturdy, it doesn’t fall off. The only thing is I noticed, when I rolled down the window all the way down and rolled back up it made a mark on window (not scratch). So I just make sure not to roll down window which isn’t a big deal. Also if u roll window all the way down and back up it gets a little off track ( but doesn’t fall off still) Quality of material is thick.

I got these for my car and now have tried to use them in my 4 Runner....My biggest complaint is they just don't stay on the doors when the windows are open for the dogs.....One gush of wind and these covers fly off because the plastic tabs they used to slide into the window to secure them aren't very long, they should have been twice the length.... I have had them blow off and end up inside the car most of the time but one has blown out the window causing me to turn around in the road and go back and get out of my running vehicle to retrieve it.....thankfully the Police didn't see this, I may have been given a ticket for things flying out my vehicle....All it took was one good gush of wind and these covers are flying off into the dogs faces and also out the window... I wouldn't recommend them because they just don't stay on the doors, shame because they are stitched well, the materials used are really nice they dropped the ball on making the tabs that are suppose to secure them to the doors....Not good. The material and construction are good but the only flaw is they don't stay put if you plan on opening the windows halfway....I've resorted to using tape to secure them but this isn't what I feel I should need to do but have to do.... When they have blown off from the breeze thankfully they have stayed in the car and not blown out the windows....

Vehicle installed on: 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie CC Simply put: These guards fit nicely into the window channels in my truck. They slide in and out with ease without causing any damage to the window or the existing tint. When you roll the rear windows down, they stay put.. and they do slide up a tad when you roll the windows back up, but they do not slip out on their own. After noticing this, I put them through a few tests and I could not get them to completely fall out of the channels. The plastic tabs are long enough to keep this from happening. They also fold up very easily and stow away in the rear pockets of the front seats or (where I like to keep them) in the rear floor storage compartments. Basically, they fold up nicely ans take up very little space so they could be stored practically anywhere within the vehicle. They are the perfect (and cheap!) solution to keeping my dog's paws and drool off of my doors, especially the door handles. I would (and already have) recommended these guards to a few friends and family members and will continue to do so. The cost is worth every penny when you consider you will no longer have nail scratches on the door interior or drool/slobber in the door pockets. Two thumbs up here!
