Great! Easy installation. Measure twice

I purchased this because it says it will fit a mountain bike tire. It is very awkward and difficult to get a mountain bike (kids) into. You have to twist and angle the bike. Just a normal mountain bike, not a big donut tire thing. So while nice, strong, well made it does not work well for what I purchased it for.

works great, best used with lags into the stud on the wall. Also size works great with my mountain bike tires unlike other comments that were made. Would purchase again.

I very gently lowered my lightest road bike into the hook... very gently because I had my doubts about the wall anchors and screws provided in the box. Before I could even let go of the bike the screws pulled right out of the wall anchors. With the appropriate size screw/anchor combination it might work, by those aren't provided.

This is the most useless thing every created. When you get the package it seems perfect. Something that will take the space off your floor and magically hang your bicycle out of the way. Then comes the install and the hanging of the bike... Before the entire weight of the bike has been rested on the hanger, it has already ripped out of the wall. (Granted I'm not attaching to the wall stud, just with enclosed drywall anchors)Installing with wall anchors is useless, DO NOT do it! Manufacuter claims 125 pounds, I would be surprised if it could hold 10 lbs. Completely disappointed with this product. Save your self time and money and just buy a hook from your local hardware store. You'll be happierThe description has a great write up on its safety features, self locking mechanism and so on, let me tell you, the hook is welded directly to the plate, no safety features here.

What a simple and inexpensive way to hang my bikes. Wish I had seen these 50 years ago. Much easir than pulleys or cieling hooks. I just put it up and my loooonnnng recumbent hangs with ease and takes up little space. Recommend over pulleys and horizontal methods. Cheap too.

I use this indoors in my apartment to get my bike up off the floor. While we didn't attach it to a stud, the back tire rests on the ground and holds most of the weight, so I'm not worried.Hook is almost too curved to fit my wheel, but angling the bike to the side when you put it up helps.
