DG Hill Merino Wool Socks for Men Women - 3 or 6 Pairs 80% Wool - Hiking Socks Warm Socks Crew Style Thermal Moisture Wicking

I bought these in 2017 and have been wearing them almost daily since. Zero signs of wear and tear and have held up beautifully through excessive wear and washing. I wear them on every hike and they help prevent blisters in my hiking boots and keep my feet warm and fairly dry. I also wear them daily around the house as slippers basically and they're great with sweats for winter or with shorts for summer (cold feet). I bought 6 pairs and all 6 have held up just as well. Some pilling on the outside but not excessive and the inside is very soft (not itchy or scratchy) and stays soft throughout washes and wear. I'd buy more if mine ever wear out!

Got for wildland fire season hiking. So comfortable, warm on cold nights, dry on hot days, and softtttt. I like these more than another brand I got where my feet end up a little damp. I think washing them correctly will extend their life a lot.

I wore these socks all day today. In 41 degree weather my feet stayed warm and dry. The colors seemed tan and gray. These socks were easy to put on my feet and fit well according to the prediction chart. So far I am pleased with these socks. I will have to wear these socks for a few months to determine the wear down.

I’m one of those women whose feet and toes are almost always cold, even in the summer. I bought these socks just in time for cold spell. We had 15” of snow followed by temperatures hovering around zero degrees. These socks are wonderful. They have quickly become a favorite. My feet have been warm, cushioned and comfy every time I’ve worn them .

These socks are extremely well made, comfortable, cushioning, warm, and great at 'wicking'.I got these for ruck hikes, and they work very well, They are comfortable, and more importantly, do a great job at wicking moisture, keeping my feet warm/cool (depending on the conditions).

These are great wool socks. Wool socks are my preference for almost any occasion or sport, but good wool men's dress socks are tough to find, and then if found can cost a fortune. I've been wearing them now for over a month, and can say with conviction that they are of superior quality, and are stylish to boot. The weight is perfect - a proper dress light weight, but not too light. Substantial material the provides a bit of cushion and is certain to last. Very pleased, highly recommended. Will be buying more.

EDIT 2/20/23: Wow, the pilling is beyond belief w/these socks. Nice thickness, warm, good fit after washing (im size 10 women's).Women's version of heavy socks w/wool blend are too small, even b4 washing, and too poorly made -- after one wearing, I'm sewing the toe seams back together.These shrunk to just the right size for me after washing in warm water and drying in machine on medium heat. However, the foot area "fuzzes" w/any friction. The cuff is woven differently but it does same thing albeit less. Also, the cuff is a bit snug and comes up pretty high. I've got thin ankles and average size calves for a woman w/my overall build, and the top of cuff cuts in slightly.Yet w/all my complaints, I'd buy them again since they are bulky enough and warm enough for me.

These socks are thick, warm, soft, and NOT ITCHY!!. Well worth the price. These are so much better than the "wool blend" socks that are only 10-20% wool. Those make your feet feel slimy. These keep your feet just right. Excellent moisture management. I'll be getting more.

was recommended to purchase 80% merino socks as I have been suffering lately standing and watching my local non league football team (the temperature rather than the performance causing the suffering) I've been wearing several layers including thermals so the only issue was my poor arthritic toes - my previous thermal socks just weren't doing the job any more and 3 pairs including fluffy welly boot socks still didn't keep my feet from being effected by the cold snap - I wasn't sure if they had warmed up or gone numb when I couldn't feel my toes anymore. Delivery as I was getting prepared for a cold Tuesday night away to Bognor seemed like a gift from the gods...package opened ,socks popped on feet and off on the 6 hour round trip I go. Feet nice and comfortable on the journey so I was a little concerned they might not be up to the job when we got to the ground for the 'cold' bit of the away trip. I shouldn't have worried as my toes were toasty warm all 90+ minutes of the game. Also comfortable on the long trip home again. Highly recommend
