Ding ding dong. It works as you may expect a bell to work. Would like to ringing rope to have been a bit longer. First world problems. It’s loud so not really a toy. Good for a play house or boat. Unsure of rust resistance as it’s not outside.

This bell worked perfectly to ring everyone in for meals during vacation. The sound carried throughout the resort as it was quite clear but not overly loud. The size was perfect for hanging and the rustic black was perfect for outdoor aesthetics.

Accurate, no concerns like others with unnecessary emblem. Loud. Make sure you secure the rope attached to the bell, which is no big deal. Looks great on my 100-year-old home.

This is nice. The quality of the bell is as good as I hoped for well-made. It has a nice sound. I bought it to train my dogs to ring the bell instead of muddy up the glass door. The rope doesn’t really hang down far enough so I’m gonna have to make some adjustments or return it. I haven’t decided yet. And training them to ring it - it’s hooked rather flimsy to the rope. Also, the rope is too high, so it hits the bell muting the sound. So I’m gonna have to reattach it and hang it lower. So it’s nice quality and doesn’t have a cheap look or feel to it.

I was recreating an antique school bell I had seen in a museum. I was lucky to find this bell for my project. Very nice quality, with a strong and pretty ring. The rope handle is attached to the bell clapper with a thin ring that does pull off easy if it is yanked too hard. I personally didn't care since I added a pull chain to my my own design, so no problem. Great item at a great price!

I use this at my workplace for toilet training. When a child is successful, they get to ring the bell & get immediate joyous cheers from everyone in the clinic! Love it!

I was worried it wouldn’t be loud enough, but it is! I often wander away from the house on our 3 acre property without my phone and my wife was tired of wondering if I died in a ditch. This is perfect for old school communication!

Over the years I invested in few electronic bells, which never lasted more than 2 years. My search for a manual bell sold locally in Singapore was futile, then I decided to extend my search on Amazon....Presto! I hit it right on the head!!! In the seller's short on-line video , I was able to hear the bell's ringing pitch and that immediately captured my liking for the product. The price was good, the product was light in weight - an advantage to the shipping cost . When the bell arrived, I got a friend to help me fasten it onto the panel of the metal gate next to the plastic box (shown in the picture). Since then I would know whenever a parcel or mail arrives at my door, the bell would attract the person to clank it, perhaps with a smile on his face. What a Great product!
