It’s Lucozade! And really cherry-flavoured!
It’s Lucozade, but cherry flavoured! I’ve loved Lucozade since I was a child when it was the sick room treat that immediately made me feel better, not just because of its taste but because it came in a transparent golden wrap that when you looked through it made the whole world look — and feel — better. Modern Lucozade tastes slightly different, I find, and seems to have a lower level of glucose, to judge by mouth feel. Or maybe at my age I’m just imagining and forgetting. But I don’t have to imagine anything with this version. It’s delicious! I’ve always loved cherries and, especially, anything cherry flavoured. But sometimes the promised cherry flavour is elusive or almost absent. (Cherry/flavoured Irn-Bru was a disappointment.) That’s not the case here! This is full-on cherry heaven for me! And somehow whatever flavouring is used it tasted much more like actual cherries than most other cherry-flavoured products. So, it’s Lucoxade and it’s really cherry-flavoured! What’s not to love?

Best flavour?
Great value for the second best lucozade flavour after Original. Lovely black cherry taste giving you that glucose hit you need every now and again. Great when fluid replen is necessary. This was a great value 8-pack. Cheaper than supermarkets.
