Volvo Trim pump cover replacement.
This 2nd generation trim pump cover replaced the original cover that developed leaks...somewhere. Came with a good page if directions. Everything went well until I discovered one of the lines at the cover had pulled out of its seat in the cover, allowing it to leak. That was easily fixed by loosening the bolts, reinserting and tightening up again. One very useful hint I had found was to attach the cover first to the pump with the two main screws, then to the frame of the boat. The only negative was the overall price of the unit! $500 for a piece that Volvo admits had an original design flaw. I guess it’s for a ‘boat’ so it’s supposed to be $$$!!!

No more leak!
This kits fixed my issue. Fairly easy to replace also. It to me about 40 mins from start to finish doing it myself. The only down sid was the price.

Fit my 2008 Volvo Penta I/O perfectly
Product fit perfect and solved my fluid leak problem. Factory instructions left a little to be desired but i was able to do the repair myself

It stopped the leak out of the housing which is good, but left me with a new problem yet ...
First - the price. Come on Volvo Penta, that's ridiculous but no options. Replaced the cover and the tilt unit has never held the drive up under load since. Replaced the tiny O rings and no improvement, still just bleeds off in about 90 seconds. It stopped the leak out of the housing which is good, but left me with a new problem yet to be resolved.

Didn't stop the leak
It says OEM in the title but not sure it really is. After installation, it still leaks from one of the Allen bolts. Replacing the o-rings didn't help. I contacted the seller but still waiting to hear from them. I will update this review accordingly.
