They are super comfy but.... i live in flip-flops [ I live in devon] have lots of them that I have travelled all over the world in. These are not great though. First trip and they've cut my feet to rippons. When on wet ground they are super slippy too - went to waterfalls and had to walk around barefoot as they were too unsteady.

We have a boat. A sailboat. So, it often is not sitting perfectly flat. It spends time heeled over. The decks can get wet. With most flip flops, you are looking at a lot of broken toes if not way worse!!Also, I go to a health club. I like to do activities in and around the pool. Someone decided to do a really good job of polishing the concrete floor around the pool. It is almost always wet which turns it into a skating rink with most flip flops.Walking across a wet super slippery surface in these boating flip flops makes you feel like Spiderman. There is zero slip. (At least for me so far.) It feels like you are glued to the floor yet able to easily lift your foot to walk on. The soles are stiped like quality boat shoes. Sperry is known for making quality boat shoes.Finding a flip flop that fits one's feet well is a bit of a crapshoot. I usually have a hard time finding flip flops that line up correctly for my heels. The flipflops seem to be a bit better. Fortunately, this is Amazon. You can try them on (do NOT walk outside) to see if they fit your foot. If not, hopefully you can return them in original shape.I find the sole quite comfortable for long-term wearing/walking. They aren't super cushy, but they are comfortable.I like that (on my feet at least) there is a fair amount of 'toe' sticking out past my toes. At first glance it might look questionable. I can say that I got used to that look almost immediately. I like the extended sole because if your foot ever does slip on the deck of a boat, the broken toes come from jamming them into the sides of the cockpit with all the force your body (and the waves) can generate. The longer toe/sole and the stiffness of the flip flop, causes the flip flop to come into contact first, and it's long enough and sturdy enough to prevent your toes from getting shattered.I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a quality flip flop with an attractive look (the leather is top notch) that will stick to wet surfaces and reduce the odds of having a life changing injury.I not only would buy these again, I did. This is my second pair. There is nothing wrong with my first pair. They look exactly like they did new, and I've used them a lot. I just wanted an extra pair to stick in my locker at the club so that I don't end up going, forgetting to take my non-skid flip flops, and ending up putting myself in the hospital if I'm lucky, morgue if I'm not.

This is my second pair. I had my former Sperry sandals for several years. Great comfort, comfort and longevity. Still stylish too.

Husband loves them. He has a slender foot and they fit him great.
