I have a 2.5 gallons per minute (GPM) shower system, does the filter reduce the gpm rating on my shower head?

We receive a mixed response from customers. About half say they don't notice any difference with the pressure, and about half say they see a small decrease in pressure. A small percentage said there was a big drop in pressure, and I've even had a few people claim that the shower filter increased their water pressure. (I'm not sure why that would happen.) Based on the responses so far, it seems the shower filter slightly decreases your water pressure, but you may or may not notice the decrease.
