It fits
This one lined right up with my existing holes with a little pressure from me was worth the extra cost dident like the reviews on the cheeper one better off buying this one .fit my 03 silverado 1500.

This fit my 04 silverado perfect The stock holes lined right up

No screws, washers or spacers. Not sure what covers the oblong holes. OEM screws fit through the slots.

Not as large as the OEM cap
I ordered this to replace my 16 year old OEM tailgate cap that was all beat up. The quality is good, but it was a bit smaller than the OEM cap so all the scratches left by the original cap were visible. I sent it back and ordered an OEM replacement.
