Just what we need in our home office. Good value for hardwood and easy to put together. I usually make my own but I was too ill to fool with it and when this arrived I am glad I didn't. It is not very sturdy so I glued every part and did some minor reinforcements to make it more secure. They were not totally necessary but sometimes my gigantic cat jumps up on things and I wanted to make sure he would not weaken it. Both sides of the top fold down so you can fit it in a tight space. The wood is natural and good hardwood that takes a nice stain with a good grain that resembles oak. It is probably rubber-wood. I used wiping oil base stain and hand rubbed the top with tongue oil and it has held up well for almost 2 years. This is a good buy and a nice piece in our home office. We use it every day.

This is well made, very sturdy, small table, exactly what we needed and I got the unfinished one, so was able to customize to match other pieces. Perfect!

Assembly is easy. Simply screw on the legs, and you are set to go. The only problem I encountered is my chairs don't fit between the legs. If anything else crops up, I'll update this review.

I live in a small apartment and was looking for a dining table that didn’t take up a lot of room. I already had two chairs so didn’t need a set. This table is very cute & a nice size for my needs. It’s also 100% real wood and sturdy. It also has a very nice wood grain to it. I’m still deciding if I want to stain it so I can see the wood grain or paint it!

Great little table for compact living. We needed a table to fit into a tiny space and this fit the bill perfectly. It is sturdy, not wobbles, and easy to assemble. You only have to put in the screws to put the legs on. From the looks of it, it is sold wood and not veneered wood. Definitely not particleboard. Very happy with our purchase.

I bought this for the low price and great reviews, but I think I may have received a defective product. The screws it came with were WAY too long - you could try to tighten them all day but they just spin and spin without actually tightening the whole way. One leg moved freely, and the other 3 wobbled. I had some shorter screws on-hand and they seemed to do the trick, but after maybe a week or two, the legs were wobbling again. I sit at the kitchen table to eat maybe once a week, so it wasn't from user error. Also, I could only get one of the dropleaf sides down; the wooden piece just refuses to budge on one side. I've also noticed a couple of small cracks in the wood already. Otherwise the piece is well-sanded and seems to be of good quality.I ended up buying a pair of hairpin legs and installed them today by drilling my own holes and it's so much better! The table was very easy to assemble! With just the use of an Allen key (which was provided) and I had it done in 15 mins.It’s unfinished but still a beautiful light wood tone without knots. I’m considering just buffing in a clear matte Wax. Simple & modern.Sturdy even when only one leaf is up.While the seam where the leaf meets the center is not perfectly smooth, considering the price point it’s better than I expected. Also considering it’s a drop down as opposed to a removable leaf.The chairs I purchased for it fit perfectly between the legs so I am able to keep it all very compact (I did check the measurements of table & found chairs that would accommodate the opening of the table so as not to have the legs of the chairs bumping into or outside of the legs of the table)To hold the leaf up, there is a slide mechanism that is very simple to use. Was a bit stiff at first but now moves smoothly however, once I’m done waxing I will apply a dry WD-40This was a great purchase.
