Fun for kids:I bought this for my son’s 12th birthday in hopes to give him something other than video games or more screen time, and it was a hit. All his friends were super excited and couldn’t wait to set up the game. They played several hours during daylight and then played a while longer in the dark. Everyone loved it and it was super easy to set up. Battery life:So far it lasted several hours without dying we charged them once the kids were done so they would be ready for the next time so we never ran them completely dead. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I went with this set due to it being rechargeable. Most other options had many reviews about using up tons of batteries so this seemed worth the try and so far we are super happy with it. I will say the charging wires for the chest plates are small and seem like if not carefully removed each time they could break easily, but we have told the kids to leave them on the charger until we get them so hopefully they will last longer. Over all very happy with the product

The fact that these 4 guns come with their own charging station is a win right there. No using up all your $$$ for batteries for these suckers. The guns have 4 different gun options, each one taking more lives than the one before. I appreciate that each one has a different sound affect too, because then it's easier to tell which one your opponents are using. The only drawback with having guns that take more lives, is that you can't use them as many times before having to reload, but reloading only takes a second. Which means of course that you can just spam the best weapon (Which takes four lives) and knock down someone's health a lot faster, because you're taking that many more lives in almost the same amount of time. You can bounce lasers off walls, screens, cars, etc., and there is even a stealth mode where all your lights and sounds turn off for a limited time. You can adjust each person's number of lives separately, anywhere from 1-99. We've played with them inside and out, and found them to work fine with both. I will say that playing in broad daylight doesn't work as well because the lasers are affected by the sun and so sometimes even if you're hitting your opponent right in the chest it doesn't register. There are three sensors that you can be hit from, your chest, back, and gun, though the back senor we've found to be more sensitive than the chest. Once when we were playing outside a few of the guns would randomly turn off, but we think that might have something to do with us using walkie-talkies at that time, since the guns had never done that before.Overall, the weight of the gun is nice, setup is easy, and it's a lot of fun. I will say (as many other reviews said) that it would be nice if there were an easier way to restart a game, instead of having to power-off and set it all up again. I understand though that if it were easier to start again, it would be more tempting for players to quickly and quietly rejoin a game after they died without anyone being the wiser. The only thing we've thought up that would make these better was if they made grenades that you could pair with your guns and throw at others. It would be pretty cool, but I also suppose they wouldn't be easy to make. As I said, we're pretty happy with the way they are anyway.

I bought this for my children for Christmas. This is a really fun game for all ages from kids up to adults. Definitely gets the kids outside and having a great time. Worth the money

First the good- Very durable. Batteries last forever. Fairly simple to use. Charging dock is handy.Now the bad- you have turn them off/on and pair/ setup team and lives every. Single. Match. Really sucks if you’re using with younger kids. Game play settings are disappointing. Laser swath is huge, like 2.5ft. As in they are not very precise.Definitely worth the cost, but no where near the quality of the systems at arcades.

Bought this for the grandkids, ages 10 and 12...they loved it. Functioned well and lots of extras over other models!

So much fun for the entire family to use. Would highly recommend for all families to get out of house and do something together rather than playing video games.
