Absolutely fantastic.
The media could not be loaded. Lightweight, very sturdy, tall and extremely well made. The interchangeable feet are excellent and the convertible legs to monopods is a great function.Fully disassembly is possible for cleaning. The airhed ballhead is also fantastic quality too. The best feel with amazing knurling.I bought the stilettoz feet too for muddy/rocky situations.

Very stable
As a retired designer of scientific instruments I was impressed with the thought that went into the design of this tripod. It is well engineered and, being largely of carbon fibre, is lightweight (for its ruggedness) and folds well into a portable carrier bag. This is for landscape photography, to be carried in a car, although not portable enough for a rough-country expedition (but I wasn't expecting that), but quite adequate for an amateur's astronomical telescope or camera where time-exposure without vibration is needed. It suits my 2-Kg, DSLR camera well well. The ball-and-socket head (which can be deteched and replaced by a pan-and-tilt head with a standard 3/8" screw thread) also allows it to be used with 90-degree tilt as a rostrum camera for photo-copying book pages and things which would be difficult in a photo-copier/printer.

Very modular tripod...but maybe too modular?
I've been very pleased with this tripod, I do both landscape and wildlife photography and for the price it's a good fit for both, though the "Airhead" probably isn't perfect for wildlife, it does hold my camera with the 600mm lenses just fine. It's very modular, the ability to take one of the legs and make it a monopod is really nice, you can also remove the centre pole and mount that head straight on, which again is nice touch and helpful for wildlife. However, with all this modularity comes a bit of a trade off, it does really like to unscrew itself, in my first trip out I lost a little foot and it's easy to find bits unscrewing themsleves, I guess the problem is everything has hand screws. I have invested in a little bit of loctite blue to secure the bits I don't want moving around.

Finally a decent, solid tripod for tall people!
I’ve been wanting a solid tripod for landscape photography that isn’t too bulky and this is perfect for me. Well built but light enough to put on my camera bag and with being 6’ 3” it can be raised above my head height easily, avoiding the need to bend down when shooting.Only used a handful of times since purchasing but can see this being a part of my kit for years to come.

Excellent tripod for landscape photography
Excellent tripod for landscape photography. The legs are super sturdy and this thing doesn't move in the wind. Great without the centre column for a lighter weight tripod to take anywhere with you. 3 legged thing have got a professional tripod right on the money here!

Poorly finished.
Awesome working height. Very Sturdy. Complete faff to use in real life. Edges are rough. Bits keep falling off it as they are not secured properly. forever looking in the bottom of your bag for the washer / bolt / nut that's just fallen off. Bag that comes with it is useless unless you fancy taking the feet off every time. Also bought Stilletoz accesorries, these are as bad if not worse considering the price point. For my thoughts on those see my review.Customer service were very fast in sending replacement parts, but at this price, I didn't expect to get a tripod kit, I expected to get a finished tripod.Going to see a mechanic mate later to find some nuts and threadlock etc to stop things falling off it.Oh aye, the airhed is terrible. QR Plate fits 2 ways, only tightens properly one way - you find this out when your camera wobbles off...

An excellent choice for serious nature, landscape photographers
I own way too many tripods. My search for the perfect one over the years has led to quite a collection. Either they're very light and compact, but not sturdy enough, or they're sturdy but too heavy to be carried into the wilderness. So this tripod is in the Goldilocks zone. It's not the most compact, it's on the upper end of that class. But it's quite light and very sturdy. It is also high enough that you won't need to raise its center column, which adds to its sturdiness. In fact, the first thing I did was remove the center column because it's not needed. I'm 6' and the tripod's height is fine without it. Another good reason for removing the center column is the tripod can go much lower to the ground without it. You can leave it on and remove it in the field, but it takes a couple of extra minutes. Another consideration is its price. Similar products of similar quality from Gitzo or Manfrotto will cost $750 to $1000. So this choice will save you a few bucks. To sum up, the benefits of this tripod are it's lightweight, plenty tall without the center column extended, very sturdy, and it's much less expensive than tripods in the same class from Gitzo or Manfrotto. If you hike with your equipment on your back, need a lightweight but very sturdy tripod to eliminate vibration for long exposures, use professional cameras and lenses and are looking to save some money, then this Tripod is an excellent choice.

Great stuff
Absolutely stable! Probably going to spray a little oil on it though.

It works, it's tall, it takes a little longer to set up & take down
I have been using this for birds-in-flight and similar things, and I'm 5'11, but this is tall enough that I don't have to crouch down when I want to point the camera up. For long days, that's actually pretty important.Other than that, the build quality seems very good, it's reasonably sturdy even when fully extended, and it stores reasonably compactly. I like the included carrying bag, and I like even more that you can fit the tripod in the bag even if you haven't done a perfect job of folding it up.It weighs about the same as other decent tripods I've used, and stows to about the same volume. The only minor irritation is that, compared to my other tripods, this takes a little longer to set up and take down. Because of the way the legs fold and lock, there are a extra couple of steps in unfolding it, and some of the joints are pretty stiff so it simply takes longer to get it done. It's not difficult, but I always need to allow a bit more time.Bottom line: Really good tripod for my use. If I lost mine, I'd likely buy another one.

Very high quality, but heavy
tl;dr- very well constructed, high quality, not the lightestExceptionally high quality. Right out of the box you can see and feel that this is a well made tripod. No stupid flappy loop underneath to tighten the base into the camera that always comes loose, this uses either an allen key (keep mine on car key ring so it's always available) or flathead/coin. Gets crazy tall, maybe over 7', not measured but it towers over me at 5'11".The only drawback is that it's a bit heavy for an all-around tripod, heavy enough that it might be noticed on a trip into the backcountry for landscape or wildlife shooting. And to be clear I do mean it's "a bit" on the heavier side of expectations, not unreasonably heavy, but if you're going in for a multi-day trip and need to worry about every gram a lighter tripod might be in order.

Beautiful
This tripod is larger than I had anticipated when collapsed but that's not an issue. The ball head is super smooth and the system as a whole is light, which is expected from carbon fiber.
