just what I needed.
I needed this cable for a Fire Stick to interface with a Flirc USB IR receiver. It works perfectly.

Not what I was led to think it would be but maybe I misunderstood something
The media could not be loaded. It seemed that the description on Amazon with this device, it was supposed to split a Micro-USB receptacle so you can charge the tablet and also use the OTG feature to it. But I tried attaching the "Splitter-Power Enhancer" to my 8 Inch tablet ( and such tablets have only one Micro-USB receptacle to either charge or use with an OTG cable, you cannot do both) and the "Splitter-Power-Enhancer" did not charge the tablet at all.I might not have understood completely what this cable is supposed to do. I now do not know if the kind of cable I need really exists. I need something designed to charge a tablet ( which has a Micro-USB port) but which also enables me to use an OTG so as to also use a mouse and keyboard.I guess I will return this item. Of course, it does not instantly mean it is faulty. It just does not actually function the way I need it to.
