OnixPremium Pickleball Paddles

I have slowly been progressing through the Onix lineup, and each time my game has improved. I started with the Evoke tear drop, then moved to the Evoke XL. I liked how light that one was, but it turned out that because it was so light, it really exacerbated my tennis elbow. Counterintuitively, I moved to a standard size paddle. First the Onix Pro. My game improved (I'm around a 3.5 player) significantly. I then tried the Premier standard weight and instantly noticed another improvement.I'm now using the CT-16, and it has been another step up. It doesn't seem to be just because I've played more, because I already played a fair amount. However, it plays differently to the other ones. The thicker width means it feels softer when you hit it, even though the power of my smashes has increased somewhat. The control is better with spins and also on my drop shots. My third shot drive, which is my go-to until I master the hybrid "drip", or a better third shot drop, has got more accurate and powerful.I've been playing with this paddle exclusively for over 2 months now, and it's been great. People here mostly play with Selkirk as we're super close to where they are based, but I've been very happy with Onix, and they feel a bit cheaper than comparable Selkirk paddles, although they are also, very, very good!

This lightweight paddle is not very hardy. I am a beginner, 2.5, 63 years young female. During a local game I swung and the paddle just fell in half. Leaving me with the handle in my hand, the paddle going further than the ball. Design flaw by the looks of it. No warranty either, major disappointment.

Started playing pickle ball like everybody else bought an average paddle. Yeah it was OK. Wanted to try this one saw it online. I went for it. Zero regrets I love the paddle. I’m glad I had another paddle to compare it to. I love the product. The price was good and I’m playing very well with it.

I have been using this paddle almost daily for a few months and wanted to submit a review on my experience. Overall, I have really enjoyed using this paddle. It has a fairly large sweet spot that provides a nice solid sound when you hit the ball in the right spot. I wanted a paddle for power and control because I try to do both, and this paddle has been great for both.The only negatives are the grip and using this paddle outdoors. First of all, the grip that comes on the paddle is not good. I highly recommend regripping the paddle as soon as you get it. The one that comes on it is slippery and dull. The other issue is that I find it hard to use this paddle outside when the weather is cool. The cooler weather seems to soften the sweet spot such that volleying becomes almost impossible because there isn't any bounce off the paddle. I have even tried to increase my swing and follow-through on the volley but still the ball just basically falls at my feet.Overall, if you are looking for a good indoor paddle, then this is a great choice. If you are looking for a paddle to use indoor/outdoor, then I would look somewhere else. Also, Onix, make a better grip. For that price point, I want my grip to last more than 2 months.

Great paddle! It has a textured surface to grab the pickleball to give it maximum spin. The racquet is well balanced and lite for great volley action. Works well for a spin serve. Best on windy days to add extra action to the wiffleball! Converting players over every time I play! Definitely a paddle to have in your arsenal. Highly recommend.

The paddle faces of primary concern have cosmetic designs in which a large percentage of the face is covered with one or more colors that have insufficient contrast to the color of the ball. Paddle colors with insufficient contrast include various shades of yellow, green, gold and white. There is growing concern that the reduced ability to visually pick up and track hit balls increases the likelihood of injury and will result in unfair competition. It is in the best interest of player safety and fair competition that the following rules are established and made effective beginning Aug 1, 2023.

I know these rackets are really good because we used our neighbors. However, the delivery was very delayed and one of the rackets rubber area on the handle is ripped.

It is a best racket for my style of the game, it is just perfect in every possible way. If you are looking for power, control and a soft game, this racket is the one.My game improved and I have complete all around game.

Très bonne raquette qui m'a permis de hausser mon niveau de jeux. je suis a ma 2e saison et je l'ai acheté à ma 2e saison, et le changement est radicale. Elle m'a procurée plus de force de frappe et de retour, plus de précision et des effets retro sur la balle. Pour ceux qui désirent encore un peu plus de puissance, la raquette noire conviendrait mieux, mais un peu plus pesante pour ceux qui sont fragile du poigner. Je la recommande.

Attention, il existe 3 poids différents pour cette raquettes, et le comportement est différent selon les poids..Au plus elle est lourde, au plus elle est puissante et moins maniable, à l'inverse au plus elle est légère, moins de force, plus de contrôle !

La première a brisé après un smash au manche et j'ai demandé un échange et la deuxième la même chose brisé au manche après un smash je ne recommande pas ce produit triste pcq j'était très satisfait de mes dernière raquettes était des onix les 2 onix Premier on même pas durée 10 parties chaque.
