Great tasting coffee without the hassle
My husband and I like coffee - hot, brown and plenty of it. We’re not coffee snobs, it just has to be good. We own a Technivorm Moccamaster because it makes great coffee and is NOT made in China. We wanted a coffee maker for our camper that was small, lightweight, easy to use, easy to clean, and made good coffee - enter the Melitta Ready Set Joe pour over brewing cone. If you’re anything like me and you’ve watched any of the YouTube videos for instructions on how to make pour over coffee, you were probably ready to give up before you started. You don’t need the most expensive coffee beans, a digital scale, a burr grinder, an instant read thermometer, or a digital timer…good coffee doesn’t need to be complicated. Here’s my EASY method to make delicious coffee for two: Bring 20 ounces of fresh water to a boil. Turn off heat and allow water to sit for a minute while you get your “equipment” ready. Place a #2 coffee filter in the Melitta brewing cone Add 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 coffee scoops of your favorite ground coffee to the filter Place the brewing cone over a 20 ounce insulated travel tumbler or something similar. (The insulated tumbler will help keep your coffee hot while you pour - I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/your-orders/pop/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_pop?_encoding=UTF8&gen=canonical&lineItemId=mjmpqqhtpinvony&orderId=111-2672144-5419436&packageId=1&returnSummaryId=&returnUnitIndices=&returnUnitMappingId=&shipmentId=DklgHrjFq) Pour enough of the boiled water over the coffee grounds to almost fill the cone - allow this water to soak the grounds and drip into the tumbler. Continue pouring the remaining water over grounds slowly until the tumbler is almost full. Now go pour your freshly brewed hot delicious coffee into two mugs or cups of your choice, add cream and sweetener if desired, and enjoy.

Jules should have this...
Let me confess. I am a huge coffee drinker. I love the stuff. Love the taste and helps me start out the day. I drink it black. I won't defile it by adding sugar or cream. You can if you want, not me. Not judging, though(LOL). I just want to taste "coffee". Well, because I take it straight, I need and want it to taste the best it can. Lately, my coffee machine has been letting me down. Big time. Either my liquid gold was getting burned or not cooked enough. Nasty stuff, coffee, if you don't make it right. The time came. I started to look around for a new maker. And this is how I came across this individual cup maker. This is my first individual coffee maker/dripper. I am very impressed. Best homemade coffee I've had in a while! And, I don't even use the Ultra-Gourmet stuff like Jules does(Pulp Fiction). It is very easy to use, and makes a great individual cup of magic. The word here is "individual", though. Don't try and makes 4, 5, 6 cups, because you'll be in the kitchen forever. But, if you want a great individual cup of warm hugs and kisses. This is it, man! Great tasting coffee. Easy to make and clean. Making my own individual cup. It feels so intimate. This relationship is going to last forever...and ever...and ever... P.S. Grind your own coffee, if you have the time. Tastes better.

10/10
such an essential item, super sturdy, long lasting and easy to clean, love that it comes with two i can make mine and my partners coffee at the same time. it is a slow drip but i don’t mind at all. it is a bit smaller than i can find filters for so i just use a regular one and let it be huge lol.

Best price for a coffee pour over
The prices of coffee pour-overs are pretty surprising to me. This one is the cheapest, it's unbreakable ( a big plus for clumsy me ) and it works great. I only have one or two mugs of coffee in the morning so having a coffee machine made less and less sense to me. I had 2 Keurigs but they both broke after a year ( cheap merchandise ! for big money ) but while they worked I was essentially paying $ 45 - $ 60 a pound for coffee in little plastic cups. It's madness. I can make a rich cup of coffee in my 15 oz. mug for the price of a tablespoon or so of coffee and a #2 coffee filter. I'm glad I made the switch to pour over coffee brewing and I'm glad I didn't pay for a heavy crockery pour-over thing at $25 . Instead I bought 2 Melitas on special for $12. One for me and one for my daughter.

Sturdy and Functional
Good cup of coffee, no longer piping hot once it's ready, but decent enough. Have to keep refilling to make a full cup. Will be great for RV where we have limited water when boondocking and no electric (and BF is not a fan of instant - ah well, who is?). Just lift out the filter and rinse. The product itself is flawless - sits on cup well, can see the contents of the cup, comes with a couple #2 filters in each to try. Will probably survive the apocalypse.

Melitta My Fav
I love these little brown filter-holders! Makes bad coffee drinkable, and good coffee great! Convenient, portable- I take it to work and have a great cupa there, easily! Why drink swill? I musta had seven or eight over the years as well as other brewing methods, but always come back to the Melitta funnel/filter. Simplicity, ease, portability, economy, but best, taste!!! Keep it clean w/toothbrush, I do not use soap as don't want to pick up that taste. Currently, have found Cafe Bustelo in the bright yellow/red container as a great "premium coffee" replacement as it pencils out at least half of what premium brands, (SB), would be...deep, dark, w/some moka. Mmmmm! Highly recommend, and 2-pack, makes a great gift.

Best Coffee Maker
Simple and effective way to make a perfect cup of coffee. I've been using Melitta Makers since the early 1980s when a friend introduced me to the #6 size. The #2 is perfect for a single cup. I ran out of Keurig cups one day and pulled my old one out of the cupboard, and I haven't returned to the Keurig since. I bought the updated model and really appreciate the design changes, especially the ability to peek through and see the level of the coffee flowing into the cup.
